Guest guest
Hi Eileen, I can relate to your story because I *am* the daughter that was made to be full of candida. When I was born I had milk allergies and did not tolerate formula well. So for the first year of my life I had very smelly diarreah constantly. When my mom finally figured it out with the doctor's help, she then put me on apple juice instead, although she didn't know she was supposed to dilute it. I then started getting yeast infections which led to bladder infections. I had chronic sinus, ear and bladder infections all the time and was given so many antibiotics my teeth are permanently stained yellow. I was a six year old with yellow teeth and it had nothing to do with my brushing habits. At age 6 I went from a kid who hardly liked to eat and was very thin and energetic to a fat child who loved sweets. I've battled me weight ever since then as well as continued ear, nose and sinus infections. But guess what, I'm very happy in life despite all the health issues, and it could be so much worse. I've gotten over that stuff, and I'm educated enough now to know how I need to eat for my health, and I'm turning all those health issues around. It's not too late for your daughter. She can get better and this is the place where you can learn what you need to teach her to help her. Best I can tell they've had it for years (I discovered I had it by the time my youngest was born) but have been unwilling to change their diets until now - my 21 year old is doing Bees' plan! It would seem that in reality we all transmit the good and the not-so-good to our children. Best wishes to both of you and your children for a healthier future. Anita T. Guest guest
Dear Eileen, I really don't see it as your fault. It was not intentional and I don't think it's fair to you to take on the blame. You tried to deal with it, the doctors didn't know how to deal with it, it's unfortunate but it is not your fault. I think it's important you start to think of this differently because you need to be positive and an inspiration for your daughter. This type of thinking will affect her negatively, you don't want her to get into blaming. The best thing for her is to take responsibility for her own health no matter how or where it started from.
