Omega 3, lemon, ghee & sunbeds

Hello Bee,

I have a few questions today, I'm getting onto your candida properly

instead of the half hearted attempt I've been doing for the last few

months!! Hence all the questions.

1) I'm on the the Blue Ice Cod Liver Oil and see that the omega 3s

don't add up to your recommended daily allowance. I'm having trouble

finding a good omega 3 supplement that has dha and epa in balance.

What do I do? Are you able to suggest a good brand or product?

2) I can't handle dairy products and when I was drinking milk I would

get diaarhea. I tried ghee and I had mild diaarhea. If I'm lactose

intolerant surely ghee won't agree with me even if there is only a

small amount of lactose. Also will it make any intestinal mucus worse?

3) You mentioned in a recent post that lemons are not unlimited.

However your adrenal article recommends 6 cups of the electrolyte

drink a day. At half a lemon each, this equals 3 lemons, is this ok?

4) In the winter I will be taking my cod liver oil but I certainly

feel better after some sun. I've also heard that UV rays kill bugs.

Here in the UK we get almost zero sun in the winter. Would it be okay

to have a few very short sessions on a sun bed?

Thanks very much!!

==>See the Cod Liver Oil Folder for Nutrients Levels in Brands. High

vitamin Blue Ice CLO does contain enough, but check out the notes in

that article. There are other brands listed there as well. I am now

taking Carlson's Cod Liver Oil - they seemed to have changed it. So

it costs me less to have it but I take Halibut Liver Oil capsules to

get enough Vitamin A & D - the combination is cheaper than when I was

taking Garden of Life CLO. Garden of Life is expensive but it is

good!

==>The reason you are getting diarrhea from ghee is not because you

are lactose intolerant, it is because it is creating healing

symptoms. Diarrhea is the body's way of getting rid of toxins and

ghee does kill off candida as well which is creating more toxins to

get rid of.

==>Yes, it is okay. That's why you have the drink spread throughout

the day, and not all at once. Some people may have difficulty with

it, so they should take less than 6 oz at a time, more often.

==>Yes it would be okay, but don't overdo your exposure. A good sun

lamp is a good investment too.

==>I buy it at my local health food store, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

It is Natural Factors.

Bee

P.S. Jan, would you please trim your messages - see the Candida Group

Info Folder on how and why. Thanks a bunch!
