Yes, the gas subsides, for me it was after about four excrutiating weeks.

Incidentally, if you cheat on the diet you will get gas.

I've been on the diet for 2 months, and on the whole program with no

cheating for a month and I still have gas as bad as ever. I really

wonder if this diet is doing anything for me--I'm really not seeing

any signs of improvement. Shouldn't I be having fewer symptoms by now?

Are you still on enzymes?

I stopped taking them a few days ago when I got strict with the diet

(I upped my garlic to 9-12 bulbs as 6 was doing nothing). I did get

die-off rashes. I also have more gas as opposed to almost none

before, and today I had diarrhea. I'd like to believe it's just die-

off, or maybe because I don't take enzymes any more? But I don't want

to depend on them, they are very expensive!

I have no idea why it's taking so long for you but as we know die-off

can last more than a few weeks. Are you eating raw veggies?

I had a raw red pepper yesterday which was clearly undigested in

today's BM.

Yup, still doing enzymes. I do eat raw veggies, basically only in a

salad though (just plain lettuce). I don't really see undigested food

in my stools anymore. I just want some reassurance that this is

actually working and I will see some improvement soon, YKWIM?

Have you looked at the Thropp's Nutrition website for enzymes? They

have some for $18 for a 30 day supply. Still not real cheap I know

but much cheaper than Enzymedica or the Houston enzymes.

Oh, and I've done a few vitamin C flushes--it seems like they helped

my digestion, so that might be something for you to consider,

especially if you're not doing enzymes anymore.

==>I was on the diet for 6 months before starting antifungals and my

gas also continued straight through until months after I was on

antifungals. When candida is killed off it creates carbon dioxide,

which is gas and it causes bloating. So that is not a bad thing. You

must be doing a lot right. You might need to stay on the diet longer,

like me, before you can tolerate antifungals. Some people do.

==>You wouldn't necessarily be having less symptoms at only 2 months.

It is apparent you are killing off a lot of candida with the diet.

Keep up the good work. It does take time, patience and persistence to

heal naturally, and you will be happy you stuck to the program in the

long-run. You will improve ! Hang in there. Don't give up.

You are on the right track!

Hugs, Bee

Yes I have looked at the Thropps and it IS cheaper. I can't order

online for a while though... but I'll try the HFS if they will, only

they will up the price, so we're back to square one.

Yes I'm about to do a C flush with amla but don't know how much because

the potency is different from pure ascorbate.

As Bee said in her reply, you are probably dealing with intense die-off.

My gas is a lot better today. You know I've been killing candida since

December so I'm hoping the new die-off on this diet will be shorter.

Everyone is different, my issues are more sinus related so this may be why

my gas issues subsided sooner than yours. I do believe that this too shall

pass (pun intended) in good time. I do feel for you though because I work in

an office and I know how difficult this can be. I just had to leave the room

ALOT.

Well, I have the opposite, kind of. I used to get dreadful wind from eating

eggs. Thank goodness this no longer happens, as I eat a lot of them now. When I

am getting most die-off, I have 'the runs' and to be honest, wind would be a

joy! LOL Ah...but I must say...loose bowel movements is good for me...well it

seems to be anyway.

A while ago, I put my boyfriend on the diet for a few days and then I allowed

him to have some toast with his eggs and bacon, when he popped over for

breakfast. It was so funny...he commented on how wonderful it was to finally be

able to pass wind...without the need to run to the toilet! LOL

I think it will all pan out in the long run. Stick with Bee's recommendations

and I think you will find things will settle down eventually.

Slowly, slowly, we will all get there!
