Don't " do " the antibiotics Lizzie!!!! Awhile back someone wrote about sea

salt helping flush out the bacteria. I don't remember the exact amount but I

want to say it was 1 tsp in 8oz of water and drink it down. I had my Mom try

it when she got an infection and she got diarrhea right away so I know it

flushes everything out, maybe the person who wrote in will see this or you

could do a search on Bee's site using " UTI's " and " sea salt. " Good luck.

Hi Lizzie,

UTI's are actually Candida related...Bee has an article on UTI's in

the " Women's Health Issues & Treatments " file that explains why. Check

out that aricle, it also gives several options for treatment/relief.

Lizzie,

I've been prone to UTIs all my life. I have found

that cranberry pills help immensely. Also you want to

have lots of vitamin C and garlic.

I have found several times for me that when I take as

much vitamin C and garlic as I can with my schedule I

notice a real difference in many different symptoms,

including sinus infections, ear infections, colds,

etc.

When I am really sick I take a spoon full of fresh raw

minced garlic and swallow it down with water. Doesn't

taste great but it goes down quick.

I'm already doing all of that, except for the cranberries. And except

for the pain-related advice because I'm not getting any pain. Like I

said, I'm sticking to the diet rigidly, so I'm getting plenty of all

the good things like garlic, sulphur-rich foods, and coconut oil, not

to mention I eat parsley by the bunch in salads and things because I

love it. And I drink plenty of nettle tea (and dandelion, which is

supposed to be good as well) because, well, it's nice to have some

variety from just plain water, isn't it?!

Heh, I already eat at least two cloves of raw garlic a day as an

antifungal, and I use more in my cooking because I've always loved the

taste! I don't think my family will put up with me having any more!

*lol*. (I do feel sorry for the people who complain about having to

have garlic for it's good properties, because they hate the taste.) And

I couldn't possibly take any more vitamin C than I already am!

I'm going to do some browsing for a good free-from cranberry extract

(I'm in the UK, so I don't imagine many people in this group will be

able to recommend a suitable one to me), although I don't know whether

that would work as well as juice. I'm obviously reluctant to have

cranberry juice because cranberries are 10-12% sugar.

It's just one thing after another, isn't it?!

==>No antibiotic will work as good as natural and it will further

damage your health. See Women's Health Issues or the Treatment

Folders for Urinary Tract Infection Treatments. My sister is a nurse

and she cured her's with fresh parsley tea. She took it for a week

fir insurance but she thinks it cured her UTI within 3 days. Drink

at least 4 cups per day.

Lizzie,

I believe your body could be retracing previous episodes with UTI. Is

that possible? If so, your UTI currently is uncomfortable but not a

full-blown infection because it is like a " copy of " the previous UTI.

Lizzie, don't take cranberry. Take parsley tea instead, and you can

safely take 40,000 mgs of vitamin C per day when needed.

I wondered that, too, but I've never had any problems in this area

before! I asked my mum and not even when I was little, apparently.

But it seems to be clearing up - I've been drinking an organic herbal

tea blend with dandelion, burdock, milk thistle and things and I seem

to be responding pretty well to that. I was a bit scared that it would

cause an embarrassing problem tomorrow - I am scheduled for a pelvic

ultrasound because my doctor's concerned about the amenorrhoea! Needing

to pee in the middle of that would have been awkward to say the least!
