Guest guest
Sue, I used to get the metallic taste in my mouth too when I first started the diet, I think it was my body chelating all the mercury from my fillings etc. Bee could probably tell you for sure what it is but I no longer get it. Kinda cool when you think about it, your body is ridding itself of heavy metals!! Guest guest
I know that my father and his girlfriend who both have MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity) get a metallic taste in their mouths sometimes when they are reacting to chemicals. I don't think its any substance in particular that causes this, also having things taste like perfume is a common reaction. -- In , " Shirley G " <chickwbrains@...> wrote: > > Sue, > > I used to get the metallic taste in my mouth too when I first started the > diet, I think it was my body chelating all the mercury from my fillings etc. > Bee could probably tell you for sure what it is but I no longer get it. > Kinda cool when you think about it, your body is ridding itself of heavy > metals!! > > Shirley > > > >From: " tauttodream " <tauttodream@...> > >ALso i have this metalish tast in my mouth and my throat and tongue are > >feeling gross. > > > >any suggestions? sue >
Guest guest
Hi y'all, I'm brand new here, and this is my first post. But I used to have a metallic taste in my mouth (was not doing the program here). I went to the dentist and he tested the electrical charge of each of my amalgam fillings and said they were highly charged, and THAT was where the taste was coming from. So last December I had my amalgams removed and replaced with porcelain. (4 fillings total) Then my mouth went into total revolt and I was in excruciating pain with my new porcelain fillings until I just had them all removed again a couple of weeks ago. I will have a new composite material placed in next week. OK, so I rambled a bit about my woes, but my point is that it could just be your fillings out of whack. Did you know that this diet actually helps your body chelate out heavy metals, even mercury from fillings wouldn't cause a problem if you get plenty of good saturated fats in your diet like I recommend in my article. Hopefully you will enjoy reading all of the stuff in our files, and you will stick around my friend. We're happy to have you. Bee
