I do not pretend to know what is best for professional athletes, but here's an article which may help you: http://homodiet.netfirms.com/otherssay/athletic_diet.htm Bee

All meat and fat diets are 25% protein and 75% good fats; see this article " Eskimos Prove An All Meat Diet Provides Excellent Health, which is an all meat & fat diet experiment done in a hospital, under doctor's supervision, by Vilhjalmur Stefansson and a friend: http://www.biblelife.org/stefansson1.htm Bee

Guest guest
Just to chime in here I know that in some countries as a torture method they will feed their prisoners only low fat protien (chicken breast, tuna, ect.) with no added fats at all and the prisoners slowly starve to death > > > > I know this is in the files but i cant seem to find it. I am not using the protein for energy by any means. I workout twice a day so i need that amount of protein to limit muscle soreness etc. maybe i should up the fats though >
Guest guest
Hi guys, I just want to know how you people use fitday. I've been experimenting with different quantities of F,C,P. When I increase any of these foods too high, my skin gets very dry and awful and my insides ache.Yes I know we have to stick to ratios, so would like your opinions so I can fine tune my daily diet. (I know a +/- difference of 10% is okay) Which measurement on fitday you find most useful when measuring meats -oz (so you get this weight when you buy at the supermarket) -cups (just put int he cup to measure) -4-1/2 " x 2-1/1 " etc By the way how do you measure the 1 TBS of butter. Does it mean 1 levelled melted butter OR 1 rounded tablespoon of hard butter Thanks y' ll Joni --------------------------------- Get easy, one-click access to your favorites. Make your homepage. I might be too anal, but if I cook a big batch to have for the next 2 or 3 days, I measure it in oz before I cook it and then again after I cook it so I know how much 1 oz equals cooked. Does that make sense? So then I just enter those amounts into fitday, usually starting with the protein until I come up with the right amount. Next I add oils/fat and last I add carbs if I am going to have some that day. Some veggies have protein and depending on how many I eat I may have to reduce the protein a little bit. >By the way how do you measure the 1 TBS of butter. Does it mean >1 levelled melted butter OR >1 rounded tablespoon of hard butter >Thanks y' ll >Joni It would be 1 level TBSP of butter or you can weigh it also or some sticks of butter, depending on what brand you buy, have it marked on the outside and you can just slice it off. If you weigh it, 1 TBSP of butter equals ½ an ounce or roughtly 14.125 grams. I hope this helps. a --------------------------------- Get easy, one-click access to your favorites. Make your homepage. Also it causes many die-off symptoms where your insides will ache and feel awful. To understand more about natural healing and die-off symptoms see the Folder " C) Healing Naturally & Die-Off Symptoms " . When using fitday.com I enter ounces for meats, and sometimes eyeball the size and use cubic inches; with veggies I use cups or .5 of a cup or stalks, slices, etc., or size of something like a tomato. The amount of fat in butter is for a level tablespoon whether it is hard or melted. > Thanks y' ll Y'll are very welcome Joni! Bee
Guest guest
Hi Bee, Glad to have you back. The dry skin symptom is healing reaction. I'll read the file but just want to know is it possible for us to 'over-eat' fats. I love the taste of butter with mince garlic and meat, so sometimes I probably put more than my quota. But lately I feel my throat and skin so dry to the point of painful when stretching. SO should I cut down on butter, just stick to may quota, or if I want to " push through " the healing by continuing the dosage that my body tells me to take? Thanks Joni Bee <beeisbuzzing2003@...> wrote: > > Hi guys, > > I just want to know how you people use fitday. I've been experimenting with different quantities of F,C,P.
