Be kind to yourself and don’t use self-deprecating words. 2. Don’t let the scale rule your emotions or be the only gauge of your progress. 3. Identify YOUR vice foods and one by one eliminate them forever from your life. We don’t say it is okay to sin on weekends or once a year. Never means never! 4. Surround yourself with positive and uplifting motivational material.(Can you say, “LifeChanger?” I knew you could!) 5. Realize that you are wonderful, unique and special regardless of your pant size. 6. Don’t enjoy decedent desserts; enjoy fabulous relationships with your loved ones. 7. Each day do something that is going to further your progress and help you realize your dreams and goals. 8. Reward yourself for staying on track with things that are non-food related. 9. STOP, LOOK and LISTEN before eating anything. Just question if it is healthful. If not, pass on it. 10. Realize that a life without Twinkies is not a life of deprivation; eating them and remaining overweight and all of the problems that brings you IS a life filled with deprivation of so much more!
