hi all -

I can't get Stevia where I live so the closest thing I have found is

something called Xylitol Plus. I am wanting to know info about it

and if it's completely safe. I use it in place of where I used to

use splenda or any other sugar (ie - my oatmeal and coffee).

This is what the package says:

contains no artificial sweetners

low glycemic index

40% less calories than sugar

then on the back of the packet the supplent facts are as listed:

2.3 calories, 1.75g carbs, sugar alcohol (as xylitol), stevia leaf

extract

then it says other ingredient: silica

I was just wandering what the " plus " would be and if this is just as

safe as stevia. The heath food store said yes but I wasn't

completely convinced. Can anyone offer any opinions?

Thanks,

a
