Hi

I did the lemonade diet about two months ago now. I had to stop on

day 5 because my mouth broke out in Candida sores. I wouldn't

recommend doing the fast if you are still suffering from Candida.

The sugar in the Molasses will eventually cause a flare up.

But as a fast it's a good one. I didn't exprience any " hunger " that

wasn't associated with normal meal times, and the drink took care of

it just fine. The mental hunger is the real killer. You wont

realise how food entertains you until you have to go without. It's

like not watching TV - you'll need to find other things to do with

the time. I got really envolved in planning, shopping and cooking

meals for my family. They all ate really well that week. I still

sat down with them while they ate and took part in the social part

of meal time. I just made sure I had a glass of the lemonade before

sitting down and another to sip at the table.

Are you going to do the Salt water flushing. I'd recommend using a

laxative tea the first day and using the Salt water from the second

day (before brushing you teeth) when your tongue will have a coating

on it. That way you wont taste it so much. By the third day you'll

probably be looking forward to the salt for a break from the

sweet/sour taste.

Goodluck with it!
