Guest guest
B"H Hey Duncan & /or anybody... I'm not sure where I should be holding with the ELISA IGg allergy tesing my daughter and I had...I think ideally we should be abstaining from all those foods we were sensitive to, but is it really necessary to rotate food families too? With such a restricted diet, I can't see how we can be successful...if these food sensitivities are a result of leaky gut they'll go away as our guts heal, right? On the other hand, maybe our already overburdened immune systems don't need anything extra to contend with right now....sigh...fading fast...but today was the first day I actually felt like getting out of bed in the morning...1st time in YEARS. Guest guest
Good show Debra - about feeling better, I mean. I'd like to address the issue of rotating foods since it has long been one of my bugaboos. I'm not sure what you mean about "food families" Do you mean eat protein and then eat veggies, etc? If I eat too much of anything, then I get a sensitivity to it -or do when the Candida is at it's worst. Because, yes, you're right, as your immune system becomes stronger, these sensitivities gradually disappear. I have been told forever that you should "rotate" foods but, as you said, when you're restricted in what you can eat, sometimes there doesn't seem to be a heck of a lot to rotate. Again, I come back to the old adage that everything is a matter of degree. For instance, in my case - and perhaps in yours - I had to eat a LOT of something for a long time before I became insensitive to it. So I don't worry, say, if I have a bit of avacado in my salad every night because I don't have that much avacado. But I wouldn't eat, say, 2 eggs for breakfast every morning. Can you see the difference? Duncan...Anyone...Allergic foods B"H Hey Duncan & /or anybody...
