Re: Liver cleanse or colon cleanse

Hi

I wondered if anyone had any thoughts on this. I've read different things by

different doctors/professionals - some believe u have to do the colon cleanse

first becos of all the impacted gunk getting in the way but if the liver is

struggling it may not be able to clear up the toxins created from the colon

cleanse - so therefore it's best to do the liver cleanse first - but if u do

that, the colon remains gunked up and interferes in some way with the colon

cleanse.

Not explained it very scientifically, but it feels a bit chicken and egg to

me. I've been majorly unsuccessful trying the colon cleanses i've been given

by a nutritionist and a naturpath - the spasms became so painful and bloating

became so unmanagable even at ridiculously low doses of cleanse that I was up

night after night until I couldn't function at all - so had to drop it.

Recently I started a very gentle lemon and olive oil cleanse for the liver

but again the bloating is becoming so unmanagable that I can't sleep at night -

no point in trying to detox if u can't get any sleep to help your system

recover is there?

How have others coped with effects of cleanses and does anyone have a view on

which cleanse to try first?

Thanks

Sal

Greetings

Sal

I tell you I smiled when I read your post.

I forgot that many people just hear about the cleanse and are not told

or do not hear that yes, you have to really try to get a cleaner colon

before you start a cleanse or a flush!!! This as you can see can be a

bit painful if not done slowly, just the right way for your body.

What that way is, you alone can say.

I have had a couple of times when I was not cleaned out as much as I

needed to be or did not eat in the proper way so I was bound up a bit

and did not know it...( like the time I ate the Burger king and a

couple of pizzas) All that white flour not to mention the yeast. Boy

did I have a rough time of it!!! I was in PAIN!!! But,I also know I

brought it on myself and have tried to never do it again.

So, I had to start over and get more of the gunck out before I

continued. I have more then many people and I have had to clean a lot

and still am getting a large amount out. I to use lemon but not the

olive oil. I use herbs the are gentle to the body for cleaning and

now I am finding the right fiber to use daily. I am eating black seed

and pumkin seeds and that helps alot. Real fiber is the way to help

move the plack on the walls and get some real cleaning.

I use ebsom salt flushes a bit too. It helps to get things of the

walls and out of the body.

I drank a lot of green tea once...that started the entire body

detoxing and then man...I had to really get busy and get things

flowing. So now I have a good handle {:)} I hope on what I should and

should not do when getting ready for a liver cleanse or a flush.

If you are reading the entire articles, books or discussions then you

will for sure see the need for cleaning.

So yes, you are correct, you do have to clean before the cleanse.

Before we do anything we need to read all there is and then reread.

Then get ready to get healthy...which as you will read..is sometimes

just as uncomfortable as being sick.

So you really do have to be ready both physically and mentally before

you start.

But the results are well worth it I feel!!!

just my $1.50

Hang in there...you will be just fine!!!

different things by " gunked up colon " line. And impactions area

about constipation, as far as I know. My doc has looked inside

thousands of colons and he thinks this is hocum.

When you eat as low carb as I must to keep the candida at bay you

are eating a high fiber diet. That does great things for the

colon.
