If a doctor prescribes antibiotics, it may because he thinks you have a sinus infection. Unless it is overly serious, stay home, drink lots of fluids, rest, vitamin C, ginger ale, 7 Up, orange juice, and warmth will get you through it. For me, getting as hot as I can stand it and sweating it out is the fastest and best way for me to cope with it, but you have to be in good health otherwise. If it becomes unbearable or your temperature gets too high, then see a doctor. sensualwordz@... wrote: >I think i am getting the flu if i am what do I do I dont want to >go to a >doctor and take antibiotics ?????? > >h

Guest guest
Unfortunately, too many doctors prescribe antibiotics for everything. It's hard to find soap that doesn't have antibacterial ingredients. We're all going to end up creating germs we can't protect ourselves from... Ginger Ale (good for the stomach) and 7 Up can be acquired in diet varieties. Drink lots of hot tea with lemon. Zinc tablets and echinacea are also good for colds and flu. Nyquil used to get me to sleep quickly, but doesn't do anything for me now. It's too bad you have to go to work, you risk giving others your flu. Just be sure to wash your hands often and don't sneeze on anyone. And most importantly, stay warm. Viruses hate liquids and heat. sensualwordz@... wrote: > > i have to work today and cant drink all those things too much sugar > in them > ill come home from work and take a hot bath and drink lots of fluid and > take vit c tabs see if i can make it get out of my system faster > thanks for the word on the antibiotics seems we are so indoctrinated to > standard medicine that all i could think about in horror was that a > doc would > give me antibiotics > bye for now -- " Not one shred of evidence supports the notion that life is serious. Guest guest
You're right, all those things are filled with sugar. I believe Duncan says people take Colodial Silver when they get the flu and it reduces their symptoms greatly. You can try vegetable juices, like tomato juice, but make sure you read the labels for contents first. Chris
Guest guest
i was just coming down with something, and i took colloidal silver for a few days. it helped a lot with lessening the severity of it all. also, i find that when i start feeling sick, its usually because i was eating too much of something that bothers me. i'm not insinuating that your eating habits are bad, but i know that i ate too many nuts the past few days (which are totally ok on the diet, but not ok for me) and now my stomach is screwed up. maybe you're becoming sensitized to something you eat everyday. just a suggestion. aliqaesong
