diflucan 7 days curing urethritis

Thank you to everyone who wrote back with ideas/moral support in my anguish! I

wanted to say that my naturopath (who works primarily in bio identical hormonal

therapy for diseases of aging) prescribed 7 days of diflucan (flucanazole) at my

insistence. Since I was losing my mind from the urethritis and bladder

irritation, I wanted to be absolutely sure it was not somehow a candida

infestation before I submitted to the urologist's suggestion of interstitial

cystitis therapy (compliments of the pharmaceutical industry, guaranteed to

perhaps work withing 3 to 6 months of daily dosage).

Strangely enough, the idea of a massive week;s dose of an antifungal was my

dentist's idea. I was a little mean to him when he suggested it. I think I owe

him an apology.

Improvements have been steady and dramatic. I feel 99 % better. No twinges

yesterday. Perhaps a hint of one this morning, but right now absolutely free. I

feel like my old self.

However, I feel very warned by this development. To me, it means that I need

to detoxify, a so many of you tell the rest of us. I thought I was doing that,

but apparently not enough. I am ready to try fasts.

Does water and organic lemon juice sound like a good fast for a day?
