Guest guest
Thanks for the feedback! I'm currently taking inulin along with 4-6 caplets daily of Primal Defense. My problems are in the lower intestinal area, (loosely called the stomach) where I've had frequent cramping with lots of stomach noises, especially after eating, for well over a year. I've cut down on sugary foods, and eat more salads. I failed the candida " spit " test that you all might be familiar with. Blood and stool tests came back clear. Caprylic Acid, Nystatin and Primal Defense has helped, but not resolved my condition. Anyone had any similar symptoms over the years? It can't hack an acid environment. If your candida is in the bowel, that's a different story. Are you taking prebiotics such as inulin to go with the probiotic? If not, why not? There is a sugar-free, FOS-free inulin that works well to excellent at feeding only the good bacteria. http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/ Duncan Crow

My problems are in the lower Hi Maurice, Inulin dose is about 12-15 grams daily. How much are you taking? Sugar is problematic. Is your inulin 10% or 6% sugar? The contents should be declared on the label. Look for the glucose, fructose and disaccharides totals and add them up. The contents of my bulk inulin are less than 1% sugar, less than 1% FOS.
