Sorry, another question:

What are these 'die-off' symptoms that people are talking about? Like

when the candida dies, you get withdrawal type symptoms? What are the

common ones?

Thanks!

this might sound a little crazy, but my die off symptoms are everything

physically wrong with me that isn't normal - reversing....

does that make sense? The last thing that my body had wrong with it

was a cold - so I have gotten the cold back again - first. Then, the

brain farts will come next because that was right before the cold.....

and on and on..

My major symptom at the moment is sinus-related: a blocked feeling,

nasal drip and sometimes a sort of swollen feeling in my head and throat

Is that die-off, or related to the carbs and natural sugars I'm still

eating? Or is it not related at all - maybe I have a sinus infection?

(again..)

I can't speak for everyone but I know at its worst, for some of us " die-off "

can make you feel like you have the flu - every bone in your body aches,

yada, yada.

But that's a worst case scenario. I went to a nutritionalist and told him

that I wanted to take it slow and easy with killing the Candida and wasn't

going to put up with die-off that lasted weeks.

So we went gently, a step at a time. I built up my immune system for awhile

by adhering to the strict diet and then, after about 3 weeks we started

introducing probiotics. And this time, instead of feeling terrible when

I took an acidophilus tab, my body accepted it. And it has progressed from

there - I've been taking all kinds of antifungals lately and no " die off " to

speak of.

So, put a sign on your kitchen counter that says, " Baby Steps " and give

yourself a pat on the back every day that you manage to " behave " yourself

candida-wise. You'll get there.

Hi ,

sinus infections are symptoms of candida. Mine is - I smoked for years

and never had one, until I started to get sick. But everyone is

different. Maybe you do have a sinus infection. But I would try to

combat the candida before the infection. If it is related to candida,

you would only be treating a symptom.
