Guest guest
Hello, I have a couple of questions. My boyfriend has been feeling really ill for a few months and then just lately having severe stomach pains where he was nearly passing out and couldn't be out of bed for more than about ten minutes. This went on for two weeks. He went to the doctor's to have blood tests and urine test which all came back normal. I went to see the GP with him yesterday and really she was a bit of a cow to him, although she did refer him to the hospital for pile problems. Other than that, she didn't physically examine him, prod his stomach or even look in his mouth (trouble was, he was complaining of feeling so ill and she had so little in the way of blood results that she was writing him off as a hopeless hypochondriac.) Today I sent him off to my quantum machine/acupuncture/chinese medical doctor lady, not wanting him to be in pain over Christmas. She said he is extremely run down and wants to see him again in two weeks. He is only 36 but she has diagnosed a very enlarged prostate and she is also suspecting coeliac disease, and says his digestive system is a mess, and he must have lots of soup for the time being. I am quite shocked, although I knew there must be quite alot going wrong for him to be feeling so unwell. I have been reading a little on enlarged prostate, about which I know nothing, and according to some alternative sites, it is linked with candida and heavy metals...he has a mouth full of fillings so I will show him the page when he gets home this evening. Also that men with enlarged prostates may have more female hormone: those people that read my whimsical post a few weeks ago will remember that I was convinced my bf was suffering from my PMS...But I'm also scared because I've read that enlarged prostate can be related to cancer, or that if men have prostate surgery it can leave them unable to have children. Can anyone tell me anything more? On a different subject, can anyone also tell me why candida is linked with being very 'acidy'? I actually smell like vinegar (even the palms of my hands) and some days like coffee, honestly. Best wishes, Jane ___________________________________________________________ Exclusive Xmas Game, help Santa with his celebrity party - http://santas-christmas-party..net/
Guest guest
Hi Jane Sorry to hear about your issues. We are in a similar boat. What I can tell you is that candida can really rack your body and cause a lot of things to malfunction. I cannot say if that is the cause of your boyfriends issues but it certainly does sound like he could be having some parasites . worms or candida , possibly all of the above. The only way to go here is alternative practitioner since conventional Drs. do not help with any of these issues. Also, you can get blood tests by ordering yourself if your Dr will not order. Go to www.directlabs.com<http://www.directlabs.com/> and there is a candida blood test there. Also, try great smokies lab, they do candida tests. Many times they mail the test to your home and you mail back. Wouldn't hurt to start diet and treatment for both candida and celiac disease to try to get him well. Diet involves eliminating, sugar, carbs, grains, vinegar, anything moldy, yeast . Basically you eat organically , fresh veggies, salad, and organic meat, if you can find with no antibiotics in it. Drink plenty of water. You can take fresh chopped garlic by the spoonfull and rinse down with water without chewing, it kills the candida. Try also grapefruit seed extract, coconut oil or caprylic acid supplements and by all means get on a probiotic which is the healthy bacteria that fights candida. You must do all these things to get better, and you should also do it since this can passed from partner to partner if your immune system is questionable especially. Also visit the candida board on curezone and ask tons of questions and read read read. http://www.curezone.com/dis/1.asp?C0=75<http://www.curezone.com/dis/1.asp?C0=75> worried about boyfriend but have inadequate medical knowledge...can anyone fill in the gaps? Guest guest
Tell your boyfriend to be pushy with the doctor. They sent me away for five years until finally agreeing to have lots of proper tests done. Gallstones, for instance can cause excruciating stomach pain and any major problems should be ruled out as well as an alternative treatment considered. > > Hello, > > I have a couple of questions.
