I went today for my 5 week check up Doc says i got rid of mold and

candida and my enzymes are good again but still have plenty of yeast. I did

not

lose weight but could be because i love to snack at nite and what i snack

on maybe is just too much.

But what was a bit heartening to me was when she said there are some people

who totally get rid of this problem and as soon as they return to eating

regular again they get it back. I said " You mean some dont " She said " Many

dont " and she doesnt understand why some do and some dont

Well i think i could go the rest of my life on a modified diet but I really

want my coffee back :(

So im on this for another month minus a lot of the pills i was tking but

still trying to get rid of the yeast now.

HooRay for small accomplishments

I am new to this.. But I have major candida problems.. I have had

this for about 8 years but can't find a doctor that understands what

I am going through.. I have tried to diet but my cravings are soo

bad, and head aches, and if I don't eat the carbs feel like I am

going to faint. I have all the classic symptoms plus some. Need

someone to talk to. Don't know what to do..

I can identify with this.

I got a call-back from my gynecologist's nurse yesterday. She said I had a

*mild* infection and that I should pick up a prescription for antibiotics.

I told her I didn't want the antibiotics and was going to try to correct the

problem through diet and herbs (anyone read the book " Hygeia " by Jeannine

Parvati?). She actually *scoffed* at me.

I'm sorry, but I know what an infection feels like, and I don't have

one..... That antibiotic gel they prescribe costs about $30 a pop. I really

dislike HMO's. It's like going to Mc's.

According to " Hygeia " by Jeannine Parvati, garlic (a natural

antibiotic/antifungal) can be taken internally. In the book, she also

describes using a piece of garlic with a string tied around it for a

suppository. She recommends a poultice of yogurt, providing the woman isn't

allergic to dairy.

There's also colloidal silver and acidopholus.

If you do a Google search using the keywords 'treating vaginal infections

herbally', you should get some good results.

Hope that helps,

Anne
