Guest guest
Hi to everyone My name is Sal and I've had candida - well, forever it seems like (sigh) Was wondering if any of you have tried " threelac " - it's a mixture of products and I saw it advertised on the net - includes probiotics with a yeast munching quality and other stuff. It all sounded marvellous, but they always do, so I wondered if anyone had tried it? Thanks Sal
Guest guest
I had no luck with threelac, I however have had luck with Yeast Fighters by twinlab. Guest guest
Hi Sal, I tried Three-Lac and saw no improvement. I've had Candida forever as well. I also just tried a new product called " Syclovir " which is supposed to lure the yeast out which has burrowed into the intestinal walls, then bind to it and flush it out. That too was a disappointed as were a million other products. The only time my yeast has been under control is when my stress is minimal, my diet is pretty clean, meaning no flour, sugar, processed foods or fruit, when I'm emotionally stable and if I get enough sleep. Only then does my immune system get stronger and the yeast is not gone but much more tolerable. I do better when I focus on building my immune vs killing the yeast which only weakens me more. Also, I don't starve myself with the diet because I find that the yeast gets worse if I don't eat enough. If I follow the anti-candida 80%, I do much better and don't feel as deprived, depressed etc. I also eat one raw clove of garlic before bed and wash it down with Kefir or yogurt to stop the burning and that works pretty well for me. I am still learning about liver flushes and plan to attempt one in the near future. I will try anything at least once! Good Luck!
Guest guest
> > Good Luck! Hi Thanks for your email. I like the sound of your approach - it feels very measured. I'm beginning to think along similar lines myself because I just don't seem to get anywhere with products and go through endless bowts of die-off which stop me sleeping, create more tiredness, and more candida. The whole thing does my head in. I'm sick to death of it - but I would like to think I'm gonna be able to have sex again at some point in my life!! I'm only 36. I was thinking of a liver flush too, but have only just started reading about them. It would be good to hear what sort of protocol u decide to do, if u feel like sharing. Thanks to everyone else who responded to my mail about threelac - not much good news so far - funny how the testimonials on the site contained such ecstatic responses!.... Guest guest
I'm on my 10th day on ThreeLac. Can't tell yet if it's helping or not, since I've also cut down on candida-friendly foods. I'll keep you posted. Guest guest
I have used threelac and it is an amazing product. Although by itself, it is not the cure all but combined with other remedies, it is quite effective. I found that within 30 days of trying the product, I started to go to the bathroom much more frequently(because of candida die off) Anyone with long term candida must stay with a product for a considerable period of time(at least 4-8 weeks) before passing judgement. I am currently much better using these current products every nite before going to bed: 1.Garlic(1000 mg) 2.Vitamin C(1000 mg) 3.Probiotic(4 strain combo) 4.Caprylic Acid 5.Fish oil(omega 3) 6.Antioxidant combo I have been doing this for 14 months and feeling great! I am not on any special diet at all..just taking those antifungals. Good luck! Steve Raf

Guest guest
How long did you try Three-Lac? Garlic with Kefir/yogurt chase sounds doable for me. I'll try that. Thanks. Guest guest
Hi, Y'all! I'm brand new here so please forgive me for my ignorance as to your convictions, experience, etc... but I've been into all this for lotsa years and, though I keep looking for things which will help more, I pretty much know what works for me. As to Threelac, I haven't tried it but I have tried several brands of " beneficial bacteria " and the only one I've found which doesn't make me feel WORSE is Probiotic Advantage by Mountain Home Nutricionals. It was reccommended by my sainted doctor, C. Mabray, M.D. of , TX. I've gone to Dr. Mabray for maybe 15 yr. Talked once with Dr. Crook when Dr. Crook was still living and he called Dr. Mabray " the best gynecologist there is " . I was very grateful to already be Mabray's patient. I've never done a liver flush. It didn't make sense to me. Are these gallstones y'all are talking about? Well, that's all I have time for now. More time some other day...? Glad you're there. Guest guest
And how long have you had the problem, Steve? I'm always amazed at anyone who doesn't need to be on a diet. I think I've had it my whole life and I'm 58. Was a really tired kid. Think I've never dealt properly with carbs. Have been on a very low carb diet for most of the past 25 yr. No dairy, no grains, no more than 2 fruits a day, steamed low carb vegetables. Thank God for meat, fish, and eggs. I take lots of suppliments and -- unless I cheat for more than one meal -- I feel better than I did as a child, or a teen, or a young adult!!! But I'd still like to find a way to eat more " normally " . Needing to lose weight like most Americans sounds like " the American Dream " to me! Guest guest
I was wondering how do you eat the garlic...do you swallow the whole clove or what... I have tried chopped garlic mixed in about 2 T of yogurt and it works well but the garlic breath is intolerable... What do you do about that... It was even in my skin I think... Guest guest
I use a garlic press, a little gadget that I bought at the kitchen store, any dept store carries them. Of I used to crush the clove with the bottom of a glass on a paper plate. Then I would chew it slightly until I couldn't stand the burn and swallow it chased by kefir or yogurt and it doesn't burn that way. The breath is horrible that night but it's gone by the next day. If you have a sweetie, you may not want to do this! : ) I think the more I take garlic, the less it smells afterward. It used to linger for days in the beginning, now it's gone by morning. I tried to leave some residue on my tongue also hoping to get rid of some thrush. good luck,

Guest guest
I usually crush it and put it in with a salad. I do get the garlic breath and like you say even seems to come out my pores. After eating it this way for a few weeks I find I don't get the garlic smell coming off of me as much. I suppose your system builds up a bit of a tolerance. You can also get odorless garlic pills but I'm not sure if they work as well as eating fresh garlic. Guest guest
* I used it but I also took GSE at the same time and stopped eating carbs too as leaky gut took over and I was allergic to all carbs. Killed off the Candida in the first pass though. But I rather had that then the leaky gut.

And not sure that it matters when you take them, Re: anyone tried threelac > > > Yes I'd like to know also. I want to start taking it but I don't know how. I would break out in itchy rashes all the time and get constant yeast infections. I did the master cleanse once and I started getting yearly colon cleanses, plus taking acidolphus tablets and it's not as bad anymore. I still experience brain fog, cravings for sweets, and chronic fatique. I've been having a hard time losing weight. Anyway I am going on a cleansing diet next week that will hopefully rid me of the dreaded candida once and for all. I have about 55 pounds to lose. Guest guest
, I would NOT do the master cleanse. It uses maple syrup and it will aggravate candida problems. Cleanses are too harsh for us anyway. Guest guest
I'll email you the links to the master cleanse and the diet I am starting tommorrow! The brand of acidolphus tablets I use are by American Health. It is a lactose free vegetarian formula.(I'm lactose intolerant) I got them from my local Whole Foods store if it helps. > > Mimi I'm currently going through the itchy rash phase, can you please send me an email showing me how you did the master cleanse and the diet (can you tell me the name of the brands) also what brand of acidolphus tablets, it would really help me.
