Guest guest
Whoa, I wouldn't go that far, Willem! I will never call those little bastards my friends. LOL ;-) Ken -- candida - metal absorbers I recently learned in a chelation forum that candida absorbs mercury and other metals. Once they contain these metals our immune system will leave them alone knowing 'they don't want to go there'. During a candida diet the yeasts will die off and will be removed fairly safely from the body...there are still die off toxins etc. Although if we are metal toxic and we choose the antifungal route the yeasts literally explode open releasing huge amounts of metal irritants...which redistribute throughout the body and brain. So if you know you've been exposed to lead poisoning etc and have a mouth full of mercury fillings be wary of antifungal medicine. Could the little candidas actually be our friends in such a toxic environment. Willem
Guest guest
Hi, That's very interesting - I've been doing the candida diet and taking herbal anti-fungals since March, and just lately I've had a really bad taste of metal in my mouth and a sort of metal heart-burn, and I've been wondering where it could be coming from, as I had my fillings removed 8 years ago and did chelation therapy then...but perhaps there was still mercury trapped in the candida? Eugh! is all I can say... Best wishes, Jane --- Ken <crapmail@...> wrote: --------------------------------- Whoa, I wouldn't go that far, Willem! I will never call those little bastards my friends. Guest guest
Very interesting! Thanks, Willem! I've had a very slight metallic taste in my mouth for a few months now, since around the time when my thyroid medication was lowered and when I started back to taking strong antifungals again. Though, in all honesty, the metallic taste could also be from blood sugar disturbances -- I have hypoglycemia, as well (probably from the candida, but that's for another post). Anyway, I'm taking Alka-Seltzer Heartburn Relief and Alka-Seltzer Gold tablets regularly -- to help with the toxins -- and so far they're both working very well on reducing my regular candida reactions/candida die-off reactions. Guest guest
that's a funny reply Ken 'tis true all these little microbes are waiting to make a meal out of us when we kick the bucket. In the case of candida though it would be an interesting poll to see when this condition flared up for people...did you move into a toxic house, did you help a friend paint a room with lead based paint, did you get one too many mercury fillings, did you move near to a refinery, etc etc. Willem Ken wrote: >Whoa, I wouldn't go that far, Willem! Guest guest
That's amazing Jane...candida holding on to mercury for that long. Did you find chelation helped clear up symptoms for you except the candida? Guest guest
Hello, Don't want to boast but I was rather amazingly symptom free for 7-8 years after candida/mercury/giardia/allergy treatment...I've only had problems again in the last 18 months since my previous house was sprayed with insecticide - I am wondering if insecticide has heavy metals in it? Best wishes, Jane --- willem <willem432@...> wrote: --------------------------------- That's amazing Jane...candida holding on to mercury for that long. Guest guest
Boasting is good Jane...it sounds like a success story! Following the chelation you've been symptom free for 7-8 years. Were there any other treatments you followed to bring this about. I'm not sure about the metal addition to insecticides. For me my symptoms would get a lot worse if I stayed in hotels in Arizona, New Mexico where they were liberal about using insecticides. Guest guest
Hi, I had allergy desensitisation treatment (desensitising drops); I took anti-candida herbs and probiotics, anti-parasite herbs, also vitamin, mineral and fatty acid supplements, also digestive enzymes, milk thistle, iron tablets for anaemia, homeopathic hormone balancing drops, em, biocysteine capsules, MSM capsules, mercury chelating capsules (Kelmer capsules). I followed this programme for 18 months rigourously, was very good with the diet, and then less so for the 7-8 years. In that later time period I had occasional allergy problems but very mild, maybe one cold a year, and occasional stomach upsets (always my weak spot) from which I always recovered with herbal treatment. Following that regime, I recovered from a severe ME to the point where I was then able to do 3 part-time jobs concurrently, study for 2 part-time degrees concurrently, socialise actively, exercise several times a week - I was in good health! So yes, it is possible to get better, just don't do anything stupid like not listen to your flatmate properly when she says she wants to spray your house with a highly toxic insecticide. And here's to getting well again, Best wishes and Merry Christmas, Jane --- willem <willem432@...> wrote: --------------------------------- Boasting is good Jane...it sounds like a success story! Guest guest
I don't know about heavy metals being in them, but they will certainly have enough toxins in it to overload your elimination organs and immune system to the point that parasites can now opportunistically thrive.
