Guest guest
I LOVE that book! I read it...gosh, 10 years ago I think. It's definitely stuck with me. I remember feeling the same way...so relieved that there were other 'sensitives' out there. book (sensivite people) and web site (autoimmune disorders) recommendations For a very nice article on candida and autoimmune disorders as related to environmental illness, the liver, fatigue, etc tec etc, see this web site : http://www.gethealthyagain.com/autoimmune.html For some reason it's cut off at the bottom and I haven't gotten a response from their webmaster yet. Did someone on this group already give out this link? I don't remember.. As for the book recommendation, I have run across a very very interesting book : " The Highly Sensitive Person " by Elaine N. Aron. I thought that I was the only extremely sensitive person in the whole wide world (i get annoyed at the littlest things, foot tapping, clock ticks, people eating, strange smells, for example), and thought it was always a result of the candida/food allergies/mcs/envr. illness , but this book really shows that although the illnesses and sensitivity are related, being highly sensitive by itself is probably genetic , and that perhaps up to 20% of the population is like that. It gives interesting tips on how to cope, and although not life-changing, it is very very informative! I recommend it to anyone who is being told that they are " too sensitive " . The book gives a refreshing new perspective on what it means to be so sensitive - and actually helps you accept it as a gift, not a curse! Happy reading, Asli __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Yup, bought that book many moons ago too. Felt good to know that being " overly sensitive " is not a " fault " but somehow genetic. book (sensivite people) and web site (autoimmune disorders) recommendations > > For a very nice article on candida and autoimmune disorders as related > to environmental illness, the liver, fatigue, etc tec etc, see this web > site : http://www.gethealthyagain.com/autoimmune.html > > For some reason it's cut off at the bottom and I haven't gotten a > response from their webmaster yet.
