Guest guest
MC,...thanks for your input. Maybe one day, they will use stevia. But then again maybe they need the real sugar as a filler to make the ice cream. <><>kathy _____________________________________________________________________ In a message dated 9/21/2006 12:54:35 PM Central Daylight Time, mccallalton@... writes: there is lactose free ice cream. Guest guest
Some do, rice based but they have sugar or fruit or always something else we can't have. Even sugar substitutes (other than Stevia) are not allowed. Trust me, I've looked! _____ From: candidiasis [mailto:candidiasis ] On Behalf Of Kathycozycove@... Guest guest
Yes, that is the problem. I've even found yeast free, gluten free rice bread but some has fruit juice to sweeten it. Guest guest
if you consider that a glass of red wine has been proven to be good for the heart to relax, after you have been on the program for awhile, you could have a glass now and then. Some reds have less sugar than others. Guest guest
You would be better off taking an extract in tablet form. Alcohol is pure sugar, you may as well fill your glass with white sugar and drink it down. Never mind all the chemicals they put into most wines when manufacturing (since people don't want to wait for the wine to mature properly, they add chemicals to make it mature more quickly, as well as fun things like anti-freeze and preservatives). That is completely ignoring the alcohol in the wine, which is a drug that does more harm to your body than heroine or cocaine (this was tested in the UK). If you can find an organic red wine perhaps you could indulge occasionally, but only when your candida is completely under control. Keen Re: ~~) Lactose Free Ice Cream ??
