Guest guest
What, basically, is your diet please!!! ========Original Message======== Subj: My Candida is gone!!! Date: 1/6/2004 9:50:13 PM Eastern Standard Time From: sinclairemily@... Reply-to: candidiasis candidiasis Sent from the Internet (Details) Hello All: Yes, I am so pleased to say that after my 7th visit to my naturopath, my electro-dermal screening test revealed that I no longer have Candida!!!(Or at least it's under control as it should be.) I almost couldn't believe it, not because of any prevailing symptoms, but because I thought it was going to take a lot longer! hell, it has been nearly 7 months! Wow! And I have probably had Candida since I was 15 years old and I'm 26 now. And when my naturopath tested my allergies I had different reactions than when he tested me previously. I am now only allergic to lactose, corn, flour and sugar. I was allergic to wheat, flour, chocolate, sugar, malt/barley, caffeine and of course alcohol. Now I'm only showing an intolerance to flour, lactose, corn and sugar. I'm choosing to stay off of ALL the things that I was allergic to and the stuff I'm currently allergic to, just to be uber safe, and very honestly, I've grown to like this diet and I feel healthier because of it. I do cheat occasionally but I only do it when I really feel it's a special occasion. I feel great and I look pretty dern good too. I still suffer from hormone issues because of my Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) which gives me acne around my jawline, but it's no where near how bad it was back in July when I was first diagnosed. Thank God! Thank you to all who've offered advice and support. I'm going to stay w/ this group because I love hearing the stories and advice. And if I have any to give, I'm proud to give it. Best wishes to everyone! You can make it through!
Guest guest
Hi h, My diet was this: morning: scrambled eggs w/ 3-4 cloves of raw garlic, sprouts, tomatoes and avocado, salt and pepper. OR a kefir and stevia shake w/ a few frozen raspberries in it, just so I don't kill myself from boredom. lunch: salad w/ chicken. Or tuna. And more raw garlic. snack: nuts! raw almonds, raw walnuts, raw cashews. Sunflower seeds galore. drinks: detox teas, pau d'arco tea, Green tea! pretty much always decaf. dinner: 1/2 a chicken, vegetable- asparagus, broccoli, green beans sautéed Sometimes red potatoes. When I'd cheat, I'd have Atkins chocolate bars or something along those lines. I also ate a lot of corn products (chips, tortillas), which I don't suggest because now I have an intolerance to it. Because I work such heinously long hours w/ my job and they stock the fridge w/ nothing but simple carbs, I would find myself being forced to eat cheeses. I also don't suggest this too much, heck, moderation and rotating is key. I would occasionally have sushi on special occasions and try to have as little of the rice as possible because it's very binding and turns into sugar quickly. That has been my basic plan since July. I believe that that diet along w/ all the supplements, homeopathic, antifungal and naturopathic remedies I was on have helped me. I think Threelac helped for a period of time too, but after two months I got all I could get out of it. The EDS confirmed that I don¹t' need it any more. Guest guest
Hiya Ana & h: Yeah, I totally hear you on the night snacking stuff. Every now and again I would get stoned w/ my boyfriend and then have to watch him munch out on snacks and such, and that's when I'd have my no sugar fake chocolate to nibble on. Salads would have been a better option, but when you're shitfaced like that (note: I am not suggesting anyone on here get stoned!haha) it's hard not to crave! I digress...the Electro Dermal Scanning thing is done by a naturopath and it's basically a computer that scans the body using acupuncture points testing all the bodies organs and can give an extremely accurate account of what is happening in the body. It can tell you what foods you're allergic to, what your ailments are and then what the best remedies are. It's awesome. My naturopath hasn't been cheap. He was $150 for the first visit, $75 for each additional consultation, and then there's the supplements, etc I have been seeing him for a little over 6 months and I'm quite pleased w/ the results. The whole reason why I went to him in the beginning was because of my unruly acne that I've had since I was 15 years old. (now 11 years!) I had been on every treatment under the sun, antibiotics (evil!) topical solutions, accutane- twiceeeee, and then more facials and treatments than I can list here. I went to him when I saw my sister get treatment for candida and her skin cleared up dramatically and she felt much better. Well, my skin is not 100%, but as I've stated in previous posts, it's because I have PCOS and my hormones are f*cked. I'm getting saliva tests done pretty soon which will explain a lot and then we can begin hormone supplementation, and then maybe I will finally be completely free and clear Dammit. But overall, I am really happy w/ the fact that I feel soo much better! NO more night sweats, no more weird arm rashes, no more painful and infrequent stools, no more sugar roller coasters and caffeine addiction. Everyone tells me how much better I look, and I haven't been this slender in 4 years. Yey. Anyway, hope that helps. on 1/8/04 4:50 AM, sensualwordz@... at sensualwordz@... wrote: > thank you > I find that at night is when i crave eating... Guest guest
I was curious about this device too. This site looks to give a good explanation, (it's an add for a particular device though): http://www.biotechhealth.com/clinic/equipment_best_page.htm This one has more science: http://www.healthy.net/aaabem/EAV/eavexplained.htm Bruce ----- Original Message ----- From: " Anastassios Bitos " > Could you give some more details about this electro-dermal screening please? > Where could I do this test? What does it cost? Is it reliable?
