Guest guest
Dear Jeanette, My heart goes out to you, I can imagine the pain you must be going through. About 7years ago, my husband's younger sister also committed suicide. It's a terrible, awful thing for the family members to endure, but you will come through this & you will be ok, Mike deals with it by believing his sister "went to a better place". Don't feel guilty-there is nothing you could have done to prevent this from happening. Just take care of yourself & cherish the beautiful memories you have of your sister. You are in our thoughts & prayers. Sharon S. & Mike-upstate N.Y. Guest guest
Jeanette, I am so incredibly sorry to hear about your sister. I cannot even imagine (and hope I never can) the pain you must be going through. How incredibly tragic. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Please know also that if your sister did truly commit suicide and it was not foul play, there was really nothing you could have done to prevent it. I say this because I have been there. You guys should feel very honored because this is something I do not share with anyone. Only my family and very closest friends know how very close I came to taking my own life. Even my daughter and stepdaughter do not know and I hope they never do. I am a very smart lady and I knew that if I really wanted to die, there would be absolutely no way they could stop me. They might have been able to postpone my plans for a bit, but they could do nothing to stop me if I decided it was my day to die. I thank God every day that I did not follow through, that I finally admitted how badly I needed help. When I think about the pain I would have caused my loved ones had I taken my own life, knowing that I came so close causes me tremendous pain and guilt. When I hear of someone taking their own life, it always makes me stop and think that it could very easily have been my family going through the tremendous pain of knowing a loved one took their own life. At this point, I cannot ever imagine doing ANYTHING to cause those I love pain. However, when I was at that place in my life, I really couldn't care less about the amount of pain that my committing suicide would cause those I love. It wasn't that I wanted to cause them pain. It wasn't that I didn't know how very much they loved me. It was just that at that point, I was not capable of dealing with my own pain, so I certainly was not able to think of the pain I was causing them. I don't know if any of this makes sense to anyone, but I hope my words have been helpful rather than hurtful. Take care, W
Guest guest
Jeanette, my heart is broken for you. This is tragic! Ohhh, it is truly a sad day for you and your 'normal' has been changed forever. My husband is a facilitator of a group called The Compassionate Friends. It is a support group for those of us who have lost children, siblings, grandchildren. I compile the newsletter each month for our local chapter. Interestinly enough, The Compassionate Friends (TCF) began in Coventry, England in 1969. There are many chapters in England, and if you would like and one day, feel up to it, I would be happy to find a chapter and see if there is one in your area. If you feel up to it, too, there is a website. It is http://www.compassionatefriends.org I hope you will find some comfort there. There are fliers for siblings, parents, many many areas that are available to the public. Dear Jeanette, please know that this intense pain will become softer as time passes, yet the memories will linger forever. One day, you WILL wake up and your FIRST memory of your sister will be a happy one, not the tragic one you now hold in your heart. The hole that is in the middle of your being is seen by many, even though many don't know it exists. My heart goes out to you. Guest guest
Jeanette, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. My heart goes out to you. We lost our nephew to suicide many years ago. Although we still miss him, time does help in distancing the pain. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. nne > Hi, At the moment i am hurting so much and i dont know what to do, i am sorry to say that it is not because of my liver but because on Monday night my twin sister commited suicide. Guest guest
hey everybody, I am new here. For the past five years (oh, most definately more, this is when I actually started doing something about it.) I have suffered from Candida. It comes out my eyes and ears(! ) along with an array of other wonderful symptoms. Just recently, I have realized what exactly I must do to heal myself. Which is eat nothing but beans, lentils, most veggies, white organic meat (and shellfish), water and herb tea...(sigh). I react to everything. Its really nice to finally find somewhere I can be understood. marni
Guest guest
Hi Marni, What most people with long-term candida are missing is feeding their good bowel bacteria with inulin. If they did that the bowel candida would be kept under control. There's more info on it on my website: http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/inulin_prebiotic_probiotic.html Duncan Crow > > > hey everybody, > I am new here. Guest guest
When it comes out of my eyes - there is a deep pressure behind my eye-ball, feels like its pushing my eye-ball out! It comes out as a pearly color and in perfectly round balls (if you take one from each eye and try to stick them together, they wont mush together - they will keep their roundish formation.). At first I thought I had an eye infection, but no. I can feel it roaming around and sometimes it sits right over top of my iris and temporarily blinds me. When I eat something I'm not supposed to have - it runs - like I am crying my eyes out. And its really sticky. (if I eat white flour, my eyes puff out immediately and they hurt - turn red and burn very badly - then they start to run and the pressure is unbearable. Actaully, if someone says " there isn't any white flour in here " I know they are wrong if I react this way.) My ears - I did an ear candeling and it wasn't wax that came out! It was a different color - different discharge... kinda like,...uhm, really dry cottage cheese - without moisture.....I know this is a little obscure, but I'm trying to liken it to something .. else ... maybe I will get back to you on the ear thing.... marni canda wrote: > Hi Marni, > I was just wondering how you realized it was coming out of your eyes and > ears. Guest guest
Hi Duncan, Im just wondering if you can take inulin with the Yeast Buster's Kit? This includes olive oil, caprylic acid, bentonite, and psyllium (im sure you already know this...). thanks, marni Duncan Crow wrote: > > Hi Marni, > > What most people with long-term candida are missing is feeding their good > bowel bacteria with inulin. Actually, inulin does not interfere with any therapy I know of, and it may help more than you'd think. Psyllium is cellulose, which is usable by some clostridia strains. This is how bacteria are used to convert cellulose to sugar. Duncan Crow
Guest guest
Hi , I am sorry to hear about the ice cold water. That is terrible. That makes me cringe just to think about it. I don't know too much about the tens unit, but I have heard good things about it. I am sure there is others on the list that have experience with it. I am not doing so good. I am ready to chop my foot off. I am sleeping worse than I was before my surgery. My painful foot, calf and hip are waking me up all through the night. My wonderful Doc made a house call yesterday. He had been in Montana for a conferance on the ADR. He says that they are seeing what I am going through with some of the patients that are having ADR. Not alot of them just a small percentage. I guess I am one of the lucky ones. Anyways he stopped to check up on me on his way back from this conferance. Saved me a trip to his office. He has put me on Neurontin for 2 weeks. And if I don't improve then he will do a mylogram(sp?). I am going to stay positive as best I can though. A good attitude goes a long ways. I hope everyone is doing the best they can. This is a long hard road we walk. I am grateful for the support and friendship of you all. Does anyone have experience with this? My insurance bought me a tens. Paid too much for it. They paid about $700 you can buy them for $200 on Ebay. Mine will sometimes break up the pain, and sometimes it doesn't. It's another tool in the toolbox. The Doctors Unit would pulse, that seemed to help, mine is constant. I haven't used it for about a month. IK found out that being outside in 90 + degrees, the goo that holds the pads to your skin basically turns to jelly and melts. I ruined 4 pads that way. Indoors in AC it's fine though. Good luck, Dave
