Guest guest
I couldn't agree more. You are what you absorb (versus eat). I know I've still got a degree of leaky gut and it does seem like supplements do help but it is really hard to find out which ones are needed and how much. I know blood tests can help but it takes a lot of work and money to get them. Do to how bad my leaky gut was I think supplements were helping to a degree. I think your right in the fact that they create an extra burden on the body especially when taken in excess. BTW -- I got Malic Acid at " The Good Food Company " along with parasite cleanse pills. I think I have everything needed for liver flushing now. I'm going to do the parasite cleanse first since I just purchased a lot of meat and want to finish most of it off before I try the liver cleanse. Guest guest
DJ- the Moritz cleanse protocal is a little different that the protocal which it sounds like you may be following. Moritz used to recommend a little parasite treatment, but no longer does on the theory that the cleanses will, in time, change the environment of the body against the parasites, forcing them to leave. I myself have never seen any in me, though other liver flushers can report some horror stories. if any read this, hopefully they will share their stories... in that sense, the parasites are like the candida, just there because of the deteriorated condition of the body. that being said, loads of people follow the clark protocal and do lots of parasite zapping and killing, and I'm not aware of it hurting them. re meat, until recently I ate meat in the week before the Flush. s advises against eating protein that week, to allow the liver to prepare. the last few flushes I have not eaten any animal protien in the week before the flush, and these flushes were very productive and did not make me feel really weak the next day. that being said, you probably can experiment with a few and see how it makes you feel. eating meat before my first flushes didn't seem to cut down the productivity of the flush. my first flush got thousands of big stones, it was intense. johng > I couldn't agree more. Guest guest
I'm one of those that has tons of critters coming out. For the first three flushes, I followed Hulda s directions and did the zapping and the antiparasitics the week prior to the flush. I then got s' book, The Key to Health and Rejuvenation, and started putting the antiparasitic into the olive oil/grapefruit juice mixture. After maybe 5 flushes of doing that, I stopped the antiparsitics altogether. I did my 18th flush Monday night. On top of the approxiately 18,000 stones, I've gotten out thousands of liver flukes, and liver fluke eggs. I've also had mucousy globs come out, some with what appeared to be veins in them, one even had a stone in the center of it. Last night after doing two coffee enemas and one apple cider vinegar enema, a huge worm looking thing came out. It was fat and about 6 inches long, partially brown, partially clear. It had what appeared to be a dark green vein running through the middle of it, and the thickest end of it was dark green too. There has also been things that look like pin worms, but I don't have the symptoms, so I don't know what they are. I've had so much weird looking stuff come out, that for the longest time I didn't believe what I was seeing. My stone count is probably higher too since at first I only counted the green stones. I don't believe that the antiparasitics help at all, in my case anyway. They seemed to get out a few rice looking things, but that was all. As far as the meat goes, I find that staying away from it for the week you're prepping for the flush is best. The cleaner the colon, the better the flush. > DJ- > > the Moritz cleanse protocal is a little different that the > protocal which it sounds like you may be following. Guest guest
DJ, When I don't eat meat prior to a liver flush, I get really goods results. My last liver flush I did not get any stones and I think that it is because my diet was terrible, eating lots of protein and fat. I have done 7 flushes. The first few produced thousands of stones and all kinds of lovely gunk in the subsequent enemas. I am now trying to incorporate a vata diet into mine and am slowly making the transition. Before doing the liver flushes, supplements and diet helped but I could never deviate any from the diet and I was taking alot of supplements. Now I have cut out the anti-fungals and about 5 other supplements, including digestive enzymes. I feel wonderful after a productive liver flush; so peaceful and content. Everything else was just a fix, without ever producing long-lasting results. I used to have gas so bad that I had to isolate almost completely because it was so embarassing and that was after eating anything except protein and veggies. Good luck to you. It feels so good when you start to heal. Debbie (in New York) DJ Tech <candida@...> wrote: I couldn't agree more. You are what you absorb (versus eat). Guest guest
G, Could you explain the basics of Moritz' cleansing protocol? It sounds like a program I may want to check out, but I'd like to know a little more about it before ordering the book. Leesh > > I couldn't agree more. You are what you absorb (versus eat). Guest guest
L- the protocal is not radically different than the clark protocal. it differs in that it has no parasite treatment, advices against chilling any of the liquids used in the flush, advises pre and post flush colonics (or colemas), and offers variations on the flush like malic acid instead of apple juice for softening stones. when to do the flush, how to prep ect... the book is valuable for a few reasons. first, it does an great job of explaining how a wide variety of symptoms and what most docs think are different diseases are in fact just symptoms of liver and gall bladder stones. just understanding this brings a great deal of comfort and confidence in the flush process- and gives great insight into the nature of illness. once you get a better understanding of how your body really works, it becomes clear why so many candida products are a waste of money (in my opinion). its true you can gather all the flush instructions from various forums at www.curezone.com, but you can't get the feeling of confidence that comes from gaining an indepth understanding of what is going on. the book also explains how stones are formed, and various ways to avoid their formation... it has tips for living (not as many as " key to health and rejuvenation " what to eat, different herbs and things you can do to improve your health. The cost of $7 (www.authorhouse.com) is a great bargain for what you get. I think anyone who has bought it would agree, hopefully they can add to my comments. I passed that book around to at least 10 people I know. hope this helps. > > > I couldn't agree more. You are what you absorb (versus eat). Guest guest
Hi Debbie Your post gives me a very warm feeling inside, thank you. I know that you can see what this is really all about. The reason that I stick around is to try to give back what was given to me. And I know that feels the same way. As far as eating goes, have you picked up any ayurvedic cook books? I have Ayurvedic Healing Cuisine. It's funny, I was so into meat and potatoes for the longest time. The rarer the meat the better. I even ate raw meat....just loved it. Now with using all the different spices, I could care less about meat, and rarely eat it at all. I'm glad to hear that you're doing so well. Guest guest
Thanks for sharing. I am going to try a no-red meat for breakfast and lunch and a no meat dinner onward for my first flush. I'm also going to eliminate most of my supplements. > Re: Ozone Rectal Insufflations, Duncan Maybe? > > Inulin > > > ...clip... > > > > Like you, and the greatest healers of the world, I agree that food, > > real food is absolutely the best medicine. you can take all the supps > > in the world but until a real healthful diet is learned and adopted, > > the supps are a waste and probably create an additional burden for > > your body. of course many of do not want to believe this. > ...clip... > > > > >
Guest guest
LOL, I'm still counting. Actually, I count about half of them and guesstimate the rest. Because of the huge amount, I normally guess on the low end. But a lot of the stones are small. They can come out for days afterwards. I've done coffee enemas a week later and still had a few come out. Rick > Geez, 18,000?? Guest guest
DJ, Happy flushing! Once you start, you are going to be hooked. I wish I could do one soon, but cannot for the next two weeks because of going camping. You have to enjoy the good weather here while you can. I am looking forward to flushing the weekend after Labor Day. Debbie (in New York) DJ Tech <candida@...> wrote: Thanks for sharing. Guest guest
I'm working toward my first flush at the end of Sept. Meantime, trying to get all my ducks in a row - researching, trying not to be apprehensive. Think I have it all covered but a question............ if I do the salts, etc, Friday night, what is Saturday like? I mean, I know I can't go far from the potty but what will I feel like? Will I be peacefully reading in the living room? Doubled over in pain in my bed? Painting the garage floor? Can anyone forecast, lol? Guest guest
Hi Asli Some people put a colandar in their toilet. I tried that once when I did my first colema. It was the most disgusting thing I've done in my entire life! The epsom salts that you take 4 doses of starting at 6pm and ending at 8 am the following morning really clean you out. Most if not all of the bile should be gone by morning leaving only the stones. If you use a flashlight to look into the toilet, you'll see the green stones plain as day. Stones can also be tan or white. At first you'll probably get mostly green ones. I did anyway. At times, I have used wooden skewers to poke at them, and have even been brave enough to fish some of the larger ones out using a small sieve that got tossed (thrown out) afterwards. Rick > I just bought the Moritz book and haven't started reading it yet. I'm planning on > doing my first flush within a few weeks or so. Guest guest
Penny- of my 14, none has been exactly alike. I have never been doubled over, and even went to work on a time when I did it on a week night. get a few good books or a movie or two, and things should be ok. never had any pain, just need to keep near a bathroom. g > I'm working toward my first flush at the end of Sept. Guest guest
Like and most others I know, mine have all been different too. In the beginning, I just felt a little tired the second day, but also noticed that my eyesight and hearing had improved, but that went away as the day progressed. I think the most important thing it is to relax as much as you can the night of the flush. You're doing something that is going to allow your body to heal itself, and you should feel great about doing that! What do you do to relax Penny? When I take the olive oil/grapefruit juice mixture and lay down, I play a tape that relaxes me. It also lasts 20 minutes too. That way when the tape is done, I can move. I would plan a day of rest the second day. Have your husband wait on you hand and foot. Tell him it's as if you had minor surgery done. I believe s put it that way once. Eat lightly, and enjoy your day off from life. Rick > I'm working toward my first flush at the end of Sept. Guest guest
Penny, I have never had any pain. Usually I am done with the toilet thing around 10:00 a.m. The only exception is on my third liver cleanse. I passed over 1,000 stones before noon time. I went out motorcycle riding that afternoon and every time I stopped to go to the bathroom, tons more stones came out. I feel really good after I can start eating again and I really have to push myself not to overdo it. I have gone to afternoon cookouts and have done miner housework. I also like to things I enjoy on the Saturday like walking the dogs or working in the garden. I am a hiker and after a liver flush, I feel like I have done a big hike. I feel tired in a great sort of way. Debbie (in New York) I'm working toward my first flush at the end of Sept.
