Hi everyone,

I'm Janice, and I'm writing my first post here with a very bad

vaginal infection, with swelling like a baseball, and sharp pains in

strange places! My husband works for & , and

thankfull gets the Monistat kits at a discount, but at 42, and

perimenopausal, they just don't cut it anymore. I've been dealing

with this beast for 15 years, and have done the diets, the herbs,

the whole thing, but still find no real help. I hope to be able to

share some information with you here, and learn from you as well.

Thanks for listening! Janice

Oh God! Monistat is freaken evil!!! I used to buy that

about 12 times a year... that's almost $150 and

sometimes I bought it even more often. It used to

work, but as the problem became more chronic, using

Monistat was more painful than using nothing at all.

If you want to get the swelling, itching and paper cut

like tears to subside, you will need to change your

diet by doing an elimination diet. This means to cut

out certain common " food allergens " such as: dairy,

wheat, red meat, eggs, citrus, caffine, soy, corn,

night shades like potatoes and tomatoes, etc. You take

them out of your diet for 2-3 weeks and then test the

purest form many times for 1 day. Eg. I eliminated

wheat and caffine for about a month. Day1: I ate cream

of wheat (or shredded wheat) 3 times a day (normal

meals too)Day2: none, Day3: 3 cups of coffee during

the day Day4: none. It can take 15min to 48 hours to

see any symptoms. You really need to listen to your

body. For me it was very easy to figure it out...

whenever I ate something I shouldn't, I would get

burning and itching in the vaginal area. I am

" sensitive " to dairy, corn and caffine. If I eat any

of these things, I am almost sure to get another yeast

infection... now, if I feel a yeast infection comming

on, or I have one. There is a very cheap and effective

way to get the swelling, pain and infection to go

away. Go to your local pharmacy and ask for boric

acid. It is usually near the alcohol and peroxide. It

costs about $5 for a pretty big bottle of the white

powder. You can get empty gel capsules at the pharmacy

sometimes but the best bet is at a health food store

or suppliment store. It cost me about $3 for a bag of

100 capsules (size 0 or 00). All you need to do is

fill the capsules with boric acid and keep them in a

container. Normally to get rid of a full blown yeast

infection, I would insert 1 capsule vaginally 2x a day

for 2 weeks (normally before bed and when I got up was

easiest). You can also alternate in the 2nd week 1x

boric acid and 1x acidophilus capsule inserted

vaginally. These 2 things are the things that helped

me the most. I hope they help you.

You know, that's what's hard. I've been a vegetarian for 20 years,

and I don't eat meat, eggs or dairy, and I don't touch junk food or

sweets. To be honest, I'm still dealing with an eating disorder,

which probably has my system all thrown out of whack, and makes this

yeast worse. I am very knowledgeable about nutrition and health,

but, sometimes don't always do the best thing for myself...that's

another story...I've found it quite difficult to remain on the yeast

diet, since I already don't eat most of those things anyway. I

would love some help or advice, and I do appreciate your

listening...thanks again, Janice

Janice,

Have you considered the cravings just might be due to mineral

deficiency? I'd recommend Body Balance, and you can even try a free

bottle here: http://lifeforce.com/ PIN 20466442

After you read about it you'll see why although it has a very small

amount of honey in it I'd even recommend it for a candida patient.

It has 90% and better bioavailablity from an kosher and organic

liquid source, and Aloe Vera's regeneration properties (about 4 times

normal healing speed) are legendary. There have been books written on

the Aloe alone, and the fucoidans contained in the sea veggies have

extraordinary properties as well. Some of that science is now on my

website.

It promotes a more favorable balance of gastrointestinal symbiotic

bacteria and decreased yeast populations, and it is also revered for

its cleansing properties so it's useful for the toxic environment

predicated by the candida and its associate, general bowel dysbiosis.

Aloe is actually thought to improve a number of gastrointestinal

conditions besides cancer according to a 1985 study conducted by

Bland, PhD, of the Linus ing Institute of Science and

Medicine. Aloe contains over 75 nutritional compounds; it is an

excellent source of vitamins B1, B2, B6, C, niacinamide, choline and

18 amino acids.

The nine sea vegetables and the aloe donate naturally occurring,

organic, very bioavailable ionic liquid nutrients that start to

absorb as soon as they're in the mouth, despite a possibly poor

digestive process due to bowel dysbiosis.

Sea vegetation contains more minerals than any other kind of food due

to the action of their surface tissues as their polysaccharides

freely and selectively absorb minerals from seawater. Seaweeds are

especially rich in calcium and iodine; they also supply chromium

(essential for glucose utilization), zinc (for collagen strength and

healthy skin), iron, potassium, copper, sulphur, silver, tin,

zirconium, phosphorous, and silicon (crucial to skin elasticity),

magnesium, manganese, boron, bromides and other trace minerals

necessary for health.

Further on the nutrients, both the aloe and the sea veggies contain

specific polysaccharides (including the powerhouses acemannans and

fucoidans)that range in effect with their chain length, plus

glyconutrients. According to Dr. Ivan Danhof, M.D., Ph.D. who is

perhaps the leading authority on Aloe Vera: (the following is

specific to Aloe)

1.Small/50-600 molecules Reduces inflammation-- which is involved in

a varity of serious conditions. Also helps with the reduction of

blood sugar with both type I and II diabetes.

2.Medium/up to 1500 molecules. Where as vitamins and minerals can

only function outside the cells, mucilaginous polysaccharides are

very effective intracellular antioxidants and free radical scavengers-

-very important in preventing and treating an array of potential

conditions.

3.Large/up to 5,000 molecules. Has a direct anti- bacterial and anti-

viral effect.

4.Very large/up to 9,000 molecules. The very large molecules are

immune modulating, which have a powerful healing effect on many

different immune system disorders.

Then there's the 120 phytonutrients etc including phytosterols and

other nutrients... all natural.

regards,

Duncan Crow
