Guest guest
Hi - I just happened to be discussing " what does dead Candida look like " with my ND today. I know various people on this forum have reported seeing something like a white film around their stools, or somesuch. In five months of taking antifungals, I have never noticed any such thing and asked my ND about it. He said that dead candida cells are often inside the stool and would not be visible. As to the bad breath, perhaps someone else could address that. Personally, I haven't heard of that symptom but with Candida, anything goes. But just a thought - are your teeth and gums in good order? Also, be patient with yourself. Remember you didn't get the Candida overgrowth overnight and it won't go away in a hurry either. Guest guest
Bad breath (halitosis) is usually caused by stomach/digestive problems, so it fits in with the other candida symptoms. Oral hygeine is a factor too, since brushing & flossing helps to remove bacteria. Chris
Guest guest
True, Penny. I experienced several stool tests and they were all positive to candida as well as several kind of mucous in my stools of different colors: at first very white, then light brown, than transparent but I've been told from people in this list mucous id due to gut line inflammation (Leaky Gut Syndrome). Gut got inflamed from a tons of reasons (vicious cycle). My ND commented colored mucous like this: " the more the mucous is transparent and small quantity the less would be candida presence in the gut " . What does this mean? That im not digesting stuff properly? That im getting rid of bad chunky things inside me? Nothing at all?
