Member states he is a believer in desiccated thyroid, and gauges thyroid dose on Free T3, Free T4, TSH and patient symptoms. He sees high cholesterol as related to hypothyroid. Also tests cortisol, female hormonal levels (including Testosterone, Estadiol, Progeserone, DHEA-S, Pregnenolone), B12 Cortisol, Folate, Comprehensive Metabolic, Lipid Panal, CBC, Rhematoid Factor.----------------------Walter Watts, D.O; 419 Security Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO 80911 (719) 392-7201 The office is located right in Security, just south of Colorado Springs.Patient reports that he is a doctor who will treat by symptoms, not just labs. He also treats low B12.He's more knowledgeable than other docs she's known, besides being humble and open-minded and willing to learn. Does the old-fashioned osteopathic manipulations. He may prefer desiccated thyroid! He's getting near retirement age. 8-07-------------------Dr. Doft, MD. Columbine Family Practice; Loveland at 2701 Madison Square Drive.Patient states he prescribes desiccated thyroid, makes you a partner in your treatment, runs all the various blood tests you request (free T3, free T4, antibodies etc), and best of all takes the time to research any of your questions. Patient has never felt that he was minimizing his questions or concerns.--------------------
