Guest guest
As mentioned in a previous post, I have a rash on my shins, and a sample of the skin was sent to the lab for analysis, and it came back saying yeast (candida albicans) was present. I also have a white spot in my throat, which I am assuming is yeast. Also, I have recurring vaginal yeast infections. Anyhow, yesterday I went to the doc and he prescribed: - Lamisil 1% Cream (terbinafine hcl) (an ointment for my shin) - PS-Nystatin (oral rinse for mouth) - Apo-Ketaconazole (Am supposed to take 400 mg. today, and 400 mg. in a week). Has anyone here ever found any of these medications to be effective? And if so, when can I hope to actually see any results. Thank you. Guest guest
I keep a bottle on hand and use a tablespoon or two and swish it all around my mouth when the thrush acts up. ========Original Message======== Subj: Re: ? about medications Date: 12/18/2003 7:48:57 AM Eastern Standard Time From: glad2bemom@...
