Guest guest
Yeah - I'm Diabetic - 3 meals a day is completely out of the question for me. I had my microscopy done this past Tuesday - so I'm going to get the call on the 24th telling me I have to do the Candida diet again - I have to put the denial behind me, I've been in denial about being diabetic and having Candida. I've had both for several years - and now I just have to change. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good web site or email group for recipes for a strict Candida diet? Candace _____ From: DJ Tech [mailto:candida@...] Sent: Friday, August 13, 2004 11:53 AM candidiasis Subject: RE: , 3 meals a day Smaller more frequent meals are required for people like me with hypoglycemia. I feel very faint when I'm hungry and three meals a day doesn't cut it when I can't eat a lot at once. Not to mention a lot of snack foods are a 'no-no'! It takes a long time to get our diets straight. I know I am no where perfect but I have come a very long way. Some of us may need to eat more meat even though we don't want to. I know I won't be going back to a veggy diet any time soon.
Guest guest
Being diabetic will be more challenging. Do you have adult onset diabetes? I don't have any links to send but I would suggest googling candida diet and diabetic. I'm sure there is a vast amount of information out there. Here is a great book I read which has 100's of recipes: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0761527400/qid=1092410986/sr=8 -1/ref=pd_ka_1/103-0274932-3963834?v=glance & s=books & n=507846 The book also explains how to keep veggies fresh which was helpful for me. > RE: , 3 meals a day > > Yeah - I'm Diabetic - 3 meals a day is completely out of the question for > me. > > I had my microscopy done this past Tuesday - so I'm going to get the call > on > the 24th telling me I have to do the Candida diet again - > > I have to put the denial behind me, I've been in denial about being > diabetic > and having Candida. Guest guest
*nod* I currently eat 3 larger meals a day and many snacks. Healthy of course like fruits and veggies. I still would love to know where my food goes. It goes in and never comes out *lol* *8-) --- DJ Tech <candida@...> wrote: > Smaller more frequent meals are required for people > like me with > hypoglycemia. Guest guest
No, but I think I may almost be hypoglycemic. I do fit some of the symptoms... like I used to crave coffee and sweets, I used to pass out all the time and eating or drinking juice could normally prevent these fainting spells. I don't have this problem anymore since my change of diet. *8-)
Guest guest
Thanks (: Yes, I have Type 2 diabetes. I have a huge list of things that are wrong with me, and basically - they all stem from diet and lack of exercise. My doctor believes that following the Candida diet (phases 1-3 that he has given me) and making the lifestyle changes required will get everything under control. I'll check out the link (: Candace _____ From: DJ Tech [mailto:candida@...] Sent: Friday, August 13, 2004 1:20 PM candidiasis Subject: RE: , 3 meals a day Being diabetic will be more challenging. Guest guest
You are very tall, have you weighted the food you eat? Maybe your fruits and veggies don't add up to as much weight as you think. When I was doing salads only for lunch I was stuffing 1-2lbs of salad into me at lunch and was still loosing weight. Now eating a 1/2lb burger I'm gaining weight. Go figure > RE: , 3 meals a day > > *nod* I currently eat 3 larger meals a day and many > snacks. Guest guest
Candace- I don't know if you follow s Moritz's forum at curezone much, but there have been a few posts about diabetes recently that I thought were very thought provoking. johng > Thanks (: > > Yes, I have Type 2 diabetes. Guest guest
No - I don't - but I will definitely look it up, thanks (: Candace _____ From: jcgre [mailto:johngrellner@...] Sent: Friday, August 13, 2004 3:15 PM candidiasis Subject: Re: , 3 meals a day Candace- I don't know if you follow s Moritz's forum at curezone much, but there have been a few posts about diabetes recently that I thought were very thought provoking. johng
Guest guest
I guess it is possible I am not eating enough... but it doesn't make sense to me. How come when I used to eat all the saturated processed garbage, did I also never gain any weight? Didn't matter what I ate, I never gained anything. However, when I was on the pill, I did (5 pounds). *8-) > You are very tall, have you weighted the food you > eat? Maybe your fruits > and veggies don't add up to as much weight as you > think. Guest guest
Same here. I'm hypo a buncho things. I hope my big lifestyle change prevents me from developing diabetes. I was on that path I believe. I thought that book was great. The author in the beginning showed links between a lot of degenerative diseases and fungus ( " the fungal link " ). > RE: , 3 meals a day > > Thanks (: > > Yes, I have Type 2 diabetes. Guest guest
I'm not sure. Everything is multi-factorial, many things are involved. Parasites (which candida is one IMHO) would be a logical conclusion. They'd be eating your food and defecating inside you. That is one possible explanation. I know I want to get parasite testing done, I think you've had that done before right? > RE: , 3 meals a day > > > I guess it is possible I am not eating enough... but > it doesn't make sense to me.
