Hello, I'm new to this group, but I thought I would share my story

with all of you. It started when I was about 18 year's old and

progressed over the year's. Now turning 32 in December I have come a

long way from where I started. I used to have every sickness you

could ever imagine of getting. Colds and flu were real easy for me

to contract because of my low immune system. I never could

understand why I felt so bad when the Doctor's would tell me I was

ok. I knew something was wrong, but never had a clue as to what. My

body ached, I was badly fatigued, depressed, had a few cases of rash

that would breakout on different areas of body from my arms to my

legs. I felt just plain awful. I went into the Doctor and he would

give me a different antibiotic each time and not known at the time

that's can be a big cause of candida. I used to crave sweets real

bad. Everything was going down hill for me and I was ready to give

up completely until one day my Mom found a book in the library

called " WHY DO I FEEL SO BAD, WHEN THE DOCTOR SAYS I'M OKAY " that

was my miracle along with JESUS.

I found a Doctor in Denver Colorado. He took the sample of my blood

and when my results came back for candida I had a major, major high

level of candida in my body. He(the Doctor) put me on a drug called

Nystatin and a no yeast diet. It was so hard for me at first to be

without all the the things I was used to and wanted so badly. I

baked bread that had no yeast and was made with club soda,, toast it

and it's pretty good.:) I had to drink diet soda and that was tough

because I was used to the regular soda pop, I did it and am living

proof that you can get candida under control with the proper help

and diet. I feel better than I have ever felt it's like being born a

new person after being so sick for so long with candida. If you

would have seen me then compared to me now you would notice a

difference. I want to let anyone out there know I truly sympathize

with you, and if you have any questions or need any advice or just

want to chat with me about how awful the candida you have is making

you feel I will most certainly listen. I'm one person that can and

will truly understand. Feel free to contact me.

Thanks Marcella

How new are you to this group??? I have to tell you that 9 months ago I was

so sick with candida. Most days i could hardly get to work. I have been ill

with CFS since 1999 and without my Lord and Savior I would have never have

made it through these last few years. It's when you finally give it all to

Him that He will work a miracle, and I have had them....Now a days I do

pretty good. I do have to stay on the candida diet and antifungals with lots

of probiotics to stay healthy.

Hello,

I have several different recipes I can supply and I will most

certainly post.

For the club soda no yeast bread

get a 5 pound bag of self rising flour

club soda

regular bread pan may need two

put flour into a bowl and mix the club soda in gradually until dough

becomes like banana nut bread dough not like flour yeast bread. May

add a bit of olive oil to flour and club soda mixture. Coat your pan

(s) with a tiny bit of olive oil, pour bread mixture into pan(s)

bake at 350 until light brown. Slice and eat toasted or not toasted.

You may add a bit of salt if you like to mixture, but basically it's

pretty much salt tasted already. I would usually get two loaves out

of this mixture. It's excellent toasted. Enjoy.

Hello,

Yeast is a big no no, sugar foods, no vinegar or vinegar products,

no regular soda pop, no mushrooms(mushrooms are a mold), no cheese

products, no apples(apples convert into sugar), no pasta, I'm now

back on a regular diet which I do have a bit of this and that cheese

products still tend to effect me and cause the bit of candida I

still have to flare up and it tends to make me ill, moody and tired.

Anything else I can help you out with, most certainly let me know.

Hi Marcella,

I found your story interesting. Thanks.

Did you take anything in addition to nystatin ? How much nystatin did

you take and for how long ?

I was also wondering - did you ever get the spacey feeling ?

How long were you on the medication ? Or are you still on it ?
