Guest guest
Sherry (I too am in Oregon). I couldn't agree more... every person has to eat what works for them. I have yet to figure out if I need to be all veggie or not as I'm just starting the healing process (still have to do flushes & elimination diet). I also agree with in that support groups & boards like this are invaluable... but unless you are working with a doctor to figure out the best remedies for you... you really are taking a chance. I've been there... spent a lot of money on someone who said he had the answers. I'm very wary of someone who is selling something without giving me their background/certifications, etc. > Date: Thu, 26 Feb 2004 09:49:49 +0100 > From: Simona.LIGI@s... > > Reading through s Moritz posts on his > curezone dedicated section I found out that worst food for a congested liver > like ours are: meat, fish, eggs, cheese. Problem is, I have worked with doctors and found no answers. " There's nothing wrong with me. " And I just can no longer afford to put out all that money chasing after answers. Western medicine's answer is to throw a pill at the problem. I no longer have any use for Western medicine. And I went to a naturapath that I liked very much but my insurance just wouldn't cover him (figures!!) and I had to give it up. Guest guest
I'm in the north part of the state. : ) Too true... " Western " doctors just cure the symptoms & you keep going back because you aren't getting better. I got nowhere with them either. Naturopaths have been a huge help... but I'm with you in that I don't have the money. So a lot is my own research, experiment, and work with the Naturopath when I can. I don't mean to discount Eastern medicine, on the contrary... that's where I'm finding my answers! I just warn people to be careful of the quacks out there. I got taken by a few so-called " herbalists " and " Chinese medicine " people that took my money & made me sicker with their " cures " . Course, I know now that there is no " cure " for what ailes me. : ) I'm learning a lot from you & Deborah & others here. Duncan has an interesting site. And curezone.com is so informative! I can hardly wait to get 's book. > Date: Thu, 26 Feb 2004 17:13:25 -0000 > From: " tobihorse " <tobihorse@y...> > > <Sherry (I too am in Oregon). > > > Hi tobihorse, > > Hey fellow Oregonian! You said it! The internet is absolutely a font of information and I could not have learned what I have otherwise, but there's also a lot of garbage to wade through. After all, anyone can put up a website and say darned near anything they want! Sherry (from Oregon)
