Hello and Good Morning!

Two decades ago, when I first used to get yeast infection prescriptions, it

sufficed to simply cut out all white flour and sugar (even brown sugar and

honey) products while I was trying to get better. I would have brown wheat toast

with cofffee and milk, etc., for breakfast.

Over time, the candida infections demanded more stringent measures in the

way of diets. I think that if I had been more particular in the long run--not

resuming the consumption of risky foods that really help the candida population

to grow (lots of pasta, candy and pastries)--I might not be where I am now,

having to be so strict all the time.

But who knows?

So the diet is based on moderation, sense and your own state right now.

Some people cut out even too-sweet vegetables (i.e. carrots) and grains. I find

that I don't digest well if I don't have some oatmeal for breakfast.

Thus you have to get to know your sources of sugar and carbohydrates and

learn quite a bit about food, which is a good thing. Variety is also good. Fresh

is good; packaged is anywhere from not great to quite bad!

Peace and patience!
