I am at an interesting stage of my healing plan.

After:

1) being on a strict diet for 4 weeks

2) taking anti-fungals for 20 days of those four weeks

3) 1 Liver flush

4) 1 Colonic

my symptoms have improved.

I can tolerate some wheat, sugar, ... etc. (I have tried some sample

cookies at the health food store - and I didn't die!). I can also

tolerate nuts, which I couldn't before. But after testing each food a

couple of times, I felt very guilty and feared the worse. So I know to

stay away from them.

I have also started eating 1 fruit (maybe 2)/day, which I enjoy very

much. However, I still try to keep it to a minimum. My symptoms do not

flare up as much as before and I do not have as much of a craving for

junk food. I crave fruits and veggies mostly. I am eating the foods

recommended for my dosha.

I am still having issues with bowel movements. I have tried

incorporating P & B shakes and flax seed meal. 1 P & B shake in the

morning. Mixing 2 tbsp of flaxseed meal with my yoghurt. I don't have

a desire to drink too much water, but I enjoy drinking warm tea, so I

hope that counts as water intake ... ? No results yet, but it's only

been a few days so I'll give it time. I started with P & B shakes about

a week ago. Then I added flax seed meal a couple of days ago.

I'm at an interesting stage of progress. I can tolerate " forbidden "

foods better than before so it's easy to fall off the wagon. At the

same time, I'm not fully cured. (I get vag. discomfort at least once

daily, bloating from c., cramps every now and then). So I'm wondering

what more I can do.

I can't wait until my next liver flush, but I have to wait another

week before I can do another one. At that point I'll be travelling, so

I'll have to wait an additional week.

I am blessed for my improvements and for learning so much from this

list. In the past, my symptoms were so dreadful that I was so

motivated. Now, the urgency of the situation has passed.

I appreciate all the emails that were sent out about how it's

important to love yourself and treat yourself right. I have much to do

in that department. Also, I have not followed the andreas moritz

timetable of when to eat and sleep.

Most imortantly, I think I need patience. This does not get resolved

over night - especially after years of self-abuse. I hesitated to

share my " second level " difficulties with the group, because there are

so many others on the list who have the severe symptoms that I had a

couple of months ago. I hope you don't mind my post and would

appreciate any advice on how to proceed.

Thanks for all of your support!

Sue.

Candidanomore,

I am so glad to hear you have had relief. For me, just getting that relief

helped me to re-focus on the larger picture; and there is a much larger

picture than just the candida problem. I am just as excited about doing my

next liver cleanse as you are. They (and the bowel cleansing) have made the

biggest difference for me and I believe that healing the liver (and the

colon) is the key to " curing " this candida problem. That and the fact that

we ALL have got to change our eating habits.

We cannot continue to consume the over processed refined foods that the

major food companies have convinced us are " healthy for you. " NO MORE

HYDROGENATED OILS! They are in everything! " Shop the walls " as my friend

says about the grocery store. The walls are where the fruit/vegetables,

meats, and dairy are. Everything in the middle is full of over processed

shit. Not eating the foods that God gave us has made us ill.

As well as overindulging in alcohol; which is exactly what has caused me to

ramble on here. I quit my job today and decided to reward myself (or drown

my sorrows) with a couple glass of red wine! And since I have not been

drinking for months now, it's really making me think I have something

poignant to say. I'm so ashamed! Please for give my week moment. But the

above is truly how I feel.

I'm glad that you were open enough to see the truth. Please stick

around and keep sharing it like some others have done. :)

I find it hard not indulging in things I'm not supposed to have from

time to time too, because I know the way to great health again.

No need to feel bad about it. Have a sip for me. :)

Thanks slickrick! I needed that. I just had a bad day, as we all do. I

generally don't beat myself up when I slip from the diet that I know will

save my life. Tonight, I just thought I was sooo funny; being a bit buzzed

and preaching about what " you should be doing... " Tomorrow is a BRAND NEW

DAY!

Love and Light!

hi carrie,

thanks for the supportive message. i'm really glad to hear that you

are feeling better also. When I first joined this list, I have learned

so much from your posts as well as the posts of Penny ,

M., Slick Rick, , Ron S., Duncan, ... and many others who have

been healing themselves.

It's difficult to change mindset and habits. We all have moments of

weakness. I've been there done that. Especially, if i'm acting out of

habit or the food/drink is being offered to me by people who don't

know about my diet restrictions. I wonder if drinking wine on occasion

is bad for you. I guess your body will let you know. As long as we

listen to our bodies we should be ok, right?

what have you used for cleansing your bowels? My bowel cleanse is

P & BLemon drink + adding flaxseed to plain yogurt ... does that count?

Thanks for the grocery shopping advice :)

I want to say congrats on quitting your job, because I was really

happy to leave a stressful job I had in the past. I think you've

previously mentioned on the list that you will be focusing on your

health instead. I'm very happy for you. People in the US frown upon

this " focusing on your health " business. We're supposed to work

non-stop and sleep very little while feeding ourselves whatever is

fast and convenient. Don't even think about peeling an orange during

your lunch hour! That's too messy! :)

Ok, I'm off my soap box now.

Take care,

Sue.

Dear ,

As I posted in one of my previous messages to me there is a successful way

to rebel against processed food: you just don't have to buy it....you'll

boycott the whole damn system. To me this will be the only language they'll

understand.

Take care

So glad to hear about this. You're right on track. It's just a question of

time.

What about some yoga, meditation?

Hi Simona,

I hope you are doing well.

Thanks for your words of encouragement.

I have a yoga video tape. My yoga mat is waiting for me spread out on

the floor with a stack of yoga cards next to it. I have not continued

with it because I worry that my form is not correct. Now that I've

said that, I realize it's a lame excuse ;)

Very good, Sue. I was reading Ms. Hulda total cleansing program for

the body. My goodness! I can't believe we are surrounded from those

quantities of poisons. Has anyone ever followed the entire Hulda 's

program? I've heard she established a clinic in New Mexico but then she was

forced to close it. Is it true?
