Guest guest
Tony, categorizing " dairy " to include the components that people react to as wells as components that have healing properties, steers many people into dietary deficiency. Obviously, the terminology is incorrect as is and it requires refinement. Giving up all sources of dairy is most unwise; toxin load created by dysbiosis/candida is severe, and as such it severely depletes the body's antioxidant pool including the detoxifier glutathione. This is the body's master antioxidant and detoxifier; every cell requires it, especially cells of organs that are most exposed to toxins, such as the liver, kidneys, and bowel lining. Low glutathione results in many disorders and interferes with the body's detoxification processes. Much of the research is here: http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/glutathione-references.html Point is, the best source of glutathione precursors is the cold- extracted whey from dairy, plus selenium. This form also provides the most biologically available proteins one can eat. Even severely milk-sensitive individuals may not react to whey that has been purified to remove bovine-specific proteins; lesser processed wheys however are much cheaper and adequate for most peoples' needs. Cooked food does not contain glutathione precursors. The fatigue you are experiencing could be an effect of depleted glutathione due to the toxin load not being adequately dealt with. Glutathione is also a direct immunomodulator that will reduce allergic symptoms. Also, dietary reduction of corn, canola, soy and safflower omega- 6 oils and an increase in EPA and DHA omega-3 oils can produce a ponounced reduction in inflammation and allergic-like sensitivities. Guest guest
Hello, Duncan. Well, it's been over a year and a half since I received your mail and since I join this wonderful group. I have have been reading most of the threads that have been posted here. It has all been helpful information to me. Since that time I have been on the whey and inuline along with taking 400mcg of selenium a day along with other supplements. That has been a great help to me in renewing my strength so I could keep on working. I have also been sent to different specialist by my pcp with no results at all. My BMS including my lips have not changed at all. Now it has settle in my lung area and a lung specialist didn't find anything wrong there, but I can feel the burning in that area and my voice is still hoarse. Today I went it for the results of an endoscopy exam and the specialist said that the lining of my esophagus and stomach was inflamed. He also did a biopsy which came back negative. I ask him why I had this inflammation and he said he would have to study it. Lately I have been chewing a whole clove of garlic before I go to bed and that has help with the white film that I have in the mornings. I did the spit in the glass test and it shows that I still have the fungus. I can say that I do feel better today, even if I still have the burning issue, than I did a year and a half ago . Sorry that I use the same thread, which I know is an old one. I just wanted to let you know that your advise has help me to cope with this affliction and that I believe I will get my healing one of this days. Thanks, Tony Duncan Crow <duncancrow@...> wrote: Tony, categorizing " dairy " to include the components that people react to as wells as components that have healing properties, steers many people into dietary deficiency. Guest guest
Tony, Thanks for including the rest of the list on your progress. It is encouraging to know that the whey, inulin and other supplements are helpjng. A number of us on the list are new to trying the same. Please forgive my two cents here. But is it possible that the inflamation in your esophogas and stomach lining could be from the raw garlic cloves? I know some people can digest it quite well, but for others it creates a problem; me being one of the latter. Best of health and well being to you in the new year, " Tony R. Guest guest
Duncan, because I never did get a medical diagnose from any of the Doctors I visited, I Begin using the term, BMS (burning mouth syndrome). It really is a misnomer because the burning is on my lips and tip of my tongue most of the time and also the lung area. Of course there is the white coating that appears on my lips in the mornings..Other symptoms are itching thighs and in the groin area and continue loss of hair. Also, because of the low carb diet,I am down to 125lbs for 156. My pcp send blood specimen to be tested for food allergies at a test lab in Florida and it came back positive to foods that I had never been allergic to before. Now wheat bread even If I eat small piece will give me bumps on the inside of my mouth. I know that there is no quick cure for this fungal condition, but it sure make for very long days sometimes and life stops being fun anymore. And yes, I have tried that supplement that you mention with limited success. --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now.
