Is it fatigue? Have you consumed a lot of sugar/caffeinated products?

Have you changed anything recently - diet, supplements? How long have

you been on your anti-candida regime?

I am taking all my usual vitamins. A lot of things have changed, though. The

weather has been rainy, but this also happens on sunny days (it's a little

easier to tolerate on sunny days) I'm under a LOT of stress from work, I have

been slipping off the diet and meds, partly because of stress and time

considerations and now the meds because I am starting the Candessa trial), I had

pink eye two weeks ago which I am not sure is gone and it's allergy season. (I

bought a neti pot recently, by the way which really helped with a couple of

sinus headaches) There is a history of narcolepsy in the family (my

grandmother) but I am taking a nap every day ( and sometimes I feel more awake

after and sometimes not.) I have been on the diet since last October.

I was having alot of problems with daytime tiredness and " brain fog " ,

due to the fact that I had trouble falling and staying asleep. I

found a sleep hypnosis session online from

http://www.hypnosisdownloads.com/?772 called SLEEP AND DREAM (in the

relaxation catagory) that really help me to get in a better sleep

pattern, which took care of the daytime fatique. During the day, I

take a 15 minute nap using the hypnosis session called " A HEALTHY

REST " , which guides you through a relaxation session-it is really nice

and has helped me alot. You might also be deficient in vitamin B12.

You can get it at Walmart or health food stores. Try to get one that

is sublinguil (put under tongue) or liquid which is absorbed faster.

It is inexpensive and helps with tiredness. I hope this helps.

Perhaps it is something you are eating - could you be having an allergic

reaction to one of the foods you eat? It sounds a lot like the dead and

tired feeling I get when I've eaten something with a lot of chemicals

(like smoked salmon).

Perhaps it is also because of something you stopped taking. How about

trying to take one med at a time and see which one helps you. I'd also

look more closely at what I'm eating.

Hope that helps.

I've had a diagnosis from a Chinese doctor regarding waking up but

still feeling really tired. He said " this indicates kidney issues "

and went on to describe the kidneys as the body's " batteries " .

I was put on herbs to strengthen the kidney meridian and abdominal

area as a whole, and was instructed to never let myself become

dehydrated.

In addition to that, I've also noticed that when I eat a lot of dairy,

I tend to get tired more easily--it really takes a lot of energy for

me to digest dairy stuff so it could be a combination of things.

I agree with Keen on looking at potential problem foods, but I'd

like to add that the biggest source of toxin load that causes

brain fog is bowel dysbiosis, and the biggest toxin reducer is

the naturally-produced antioxidant glutathione.

The liver is the largest user of glutathione, and when it it

depleted you always get disease. The brain fog and lethargy are

results you can feel when glutathione levels are low. The

lethargy particularly; glutathione is used in energy production

and as glutathione is depleted there is less energy created in

the mitochondria. Toxin load thus relates to less cellular energy

production and an increased cancer risk because cells go

fermentative to stay alive.
