Guest guest
are you getting good nutrition (fresh fruits/veggies or supplements)? water? what is your protein source (whey with all essential amino acids)? Are you having bowel movements (is your body ridding itself of the toxins?)? Could the amount of anti-fungals you are taking be the cause? (Is this severe die-off?) I'm not a knowledgeable person. However, I find that I usually forget to look at the big picture. I hope this helps. > I have been on the very strictist candida diet (absolutely no > carbs), for 2 weeks now. Guest guest
Jen: Your fatigue would well be die-off from attacking the Candida too rigorously. When I first started the anti-candida regimen I had to back off with the antifungals and supplements or they would tip me over the edge and I just couldn't get up out of the easy chair (or bed!!) If you find that you are getting " worse before you get better " , perhaps you should ease up a bit. The first, best and most gentle step you should take to eliminate candida is to cut out any sugars or grains which only feed the Candida. (This also gives your immune system some support.) Eat your veggies and proteins and good fats, etc. As we say around this site, " baby steps " and " listen to your body " . Then when you feel confident, slowly add the antifungals and go from there. Guest guest
It could be the lack of carbs. Whenever I go on the typical candida diet of meat, veg, I get very tired and achey. Id on’t follow that diet now, but, instead I follow the diet outline in s book “The key to health and regeneration”. My energy has improved a great deal. Am I supposed to be even more tired while on treatment??? I have been on the very strictist candida diet (absolutely no carbs), for 2 weeks now. Just 2 days ago the complete fatigue hit me. Before the diet, and nystatin I was tired, and had many other candida symptoms, but now I am super tired! Is it my lack of carbs that is doing this??? Will it eventually pass? Will I keep getting worse? Has anyone else had this happen?
