Guest guest
Hi! I don't know if anyone else has heard of it, but Doug Kauffman wrote a book called The Fungus Link. He also wrote a book (the name escapes me right now) linking Candida and other fungi to cancer. He believes fungi are the cause of cancer and elaborates on that in the book. I know that one person in this group who responded to one of my questions was told that if she didn't get her candida under control, that she would develop cancer, and surely enough she did. Just some food for thought and maybe motivation for some of us. donna DJ Tech <candida@...> wrote: Thanks for the tips. I've thought for over a year about what lead me to this condition. At first I thought I may have had CGD, a disease that prevents your immune system from fighting certain organisms (including fungi). After more and more research I believe that either I've had this since birth (in some degree) and/or my lifestyle led me here. I am absolutely certain my Grandmother who died of urinary cancer had candida problems most of her life. At this point I'm not sure what else to ponder. Any suggestions? I imagine as my healing process goes along I may get hints at an underlying condition. > Re: Hello from Michigan > > While you are on difulcan, you might want to think some about what > caused your candida overgrowth in the first place, difulcan will not > help with those issues. diet of course plays a role, but so does the > overall condidtion of your body. many people on this list are > restoring their health by cleansing all the organs of eliminatin, > liver, colon and kidneys- you can read about this at > www.curezone.com. keep an open mind, and don't rule anything out. > when I first figured out I had a yeast problem, I wouldn't let myself > see what the underlying causes were... it made things take longer > than they could have. > > g
Guest guest
In doing some research for my company's product line, I stumbled across California's Proposition 65 which lists Carcinogens that must be labeld as such on products. Some of the anti-fungal drugs were on that list. I don't believe diflucan was, however. But it may not be the drug itself, but the inert ingredients. When taking the diflucan, I got the oral solution with no preservatives, coloring, etc. I go to a compounding pharmacist for anything I take. Its also ironic to note that on the same Prop 65 list there were several anti-cancer drugs listed as carcinogens. Steph in MI
Guest guest
Yes, but how do we know if she developed cancer b/c of her Candida or b/c she was told she would & she believed it. There is a ton of power in the way we think. Guest guest
I agree our mind (perception, attitude ect) has a lot of power, however there are limits to what can be achieved. I think a good attitude in life will go a long way in helping to promote (or demote) health. Nutrition also plays a vital role. I wish my memory was great (it is getting better tho!). A quote from a book I'm reading (which is similar to the fungal connection book someone mentioned recently): " All degenerative diseases have a foundation in nutritional deficiency " > Re: Re: Hello from Michigan ( fungi's > link to cancer) > > Yes, but how do we know if she developed cancer b/c of her > Candida or b/c she was told she would & she believed it. > > There is a ton of power in the way we think. Guest guest
Ahh you really think so?? I don't see that. Guest guest
Ooops sorry, I thought you were talking about natural meds. I don't believe in chemicals, so I agree that it may be the cause. Guest guest
Hi , Thanks. Does it detox more than just the candida? Guest guest
I'm doing a parasite cleanse right now & I don't feel it's doing much for me. I've been having sleep problems (sleeping too much) for the last 2 wks. yet I've been taking the cleanse for at least 2 months. Anyone else doing a parasite cleanse? Thanks Re: Hello from Michigan ( fungi's link to cancer) This is an old thread but I believe in the theory that fungi could cause cancer. If you get infected with fungi, which you have to be immune compromise to get infected in the first place unless it is stachy. A significant fungal infection produces toxins in your body, mycotoxins, and they could produce cancer just like any of the other environmental or ingested toxins that are believed to cause cancer like pesticides, etc. > Hi!
