Guest guest
Last night for instance, I ate mango and I was itching a lot. Especially between my legs by my inner thigh. That is where it all started. On 1/6 I went into Kaiser for my regular check up which included a pap smear. I told her I was in menopause and I had my period for 15 days. The first four days were very very heavy. The nurse decided to do an EMB (cervical biopsies) Which came out negative by the way. The next day I started itching down there. All over in my inner thighs around my knees, my thighs and started going to my stomach. It went up under my breast where it is moist, to my chest, my under arms (another moist area) up my neck. My feet started itching. I was itching inside, not outside. One doctor called it internal itching. All the doctors I saw were confused and did not know what was wrong with me because all the tests were negative and there was no outward sign of rash, hives or anything, but my scratch marks and bruises to show them evidence they were familiar with. Stupid doctors! I cannot believe their insensitivity. That when they don't know what is wrong they close the door in my face. That is so bad. They are not connected to us and they don't wanna be. Even if the medical board does not recognize alternative medicine that is still uncaring and rude! Of course my first impression would be to think that the EMB did something.... But the nurse who by the way was very rude to me, said she has done that procedure for 20 years, and refused to think that there was ANY possibility that it had anything to do with my extreme internal itching all over my body. The more I tried to make sense of it....the more she closed up. She didn't want to hear it. She advised me to go to internal medicine. And that I did. AND THAN to allergy .....to dermatology....to another doctor with my Bluecross outside of Kaiser. It's been a confusing 4 months. Right now I am still itching but not as much. I started the candida diet, but I am not following it completely. But I have cut out all sugars, no candy at See's, and I minimize my carbs. I stopped drinking coffee after 30 years and now drink green tea. Part of my headaches right now. But also I think I am detoxing. I am doing garlic, yeast defense followed by probiotics and I am getting ready to see a homeopathic doctor as soon as I check to see if Bluecross will cover it and I want to do a Colon cleanse. She is the one that said to me:>>>> Peggy, internal itching of the type you describe can be due to an overgrowth in yeast and candida type molds in the body. Guest guest
Sorry about your itchiness! By the way, the nurse will never confess anything for fear of a medial malpractice lawsuit. Maybe it was the lube they put on the tools they use. (Like KY Jelly - I'm not sure what the ingredients are but perhaps you are allergic to it?) I also have to stay away from anything citrus. I can't even use citrus soap! I take vitamin C tablets but I think the part that bothers me, and maybe you, it the acid mixed with the natural sugar in fruits. 'Burts Bees " line of products has both citric and sugar properties in some of their products and I can't use them or I get an itchy rash between my legs and behind my knees. I have noticed that taking grapefruit seed extract continuously has helped me a lot with skin rashes, foliiculitis and body odor. I am also doing a gentle bowel cleanse but sometimes forget to take the pills. BTW, I have BlueCrossBlueShield PPO and they have a Naturopath available so perhaps they are catching on? Also, it may be beneficial to keep a food diary so you can remember what single or combinations of foods cause your skin to itch. Guest guest
GSE does help me but you have to start out with a small dosage and drinks LOTS of water. The GSE helpes clean the toxins out of your system. I say drink LOTS of water because it will clean out any fermaented (old) food hanging out in your intestines and you stools will come out very acidic. You DO NOT want to experience acidic stools! The more water you drink the softer and less acidy your stool will be. It has helped my rashes not be so itchy and actually has helped my acne problem. My skin is very sensitive and I cannot use salicylic acid products. Make sure you read ALL the ingredients of every kind of lotion you buy because they are changing formulas. Some lotions have Salicylic Acid as well as other acids in them. All that stuff does is make my skin blotchy. GSE works well but I am also on a No yeast/wheat/gluten diet and am trying to keep my sugar intake low. As I said , start out with a small dosage otherwise you might get that “Yeast die off” which feels like a hangover times 100. Good Luck! It went up under my breast where it is moist, to my chest, my under arms (another moist area) up my neck. My feet started itching. I was itching inside, not outside. One doctor called it internal itching. She is the one that said to me:>>>> Peggy, internal itching of the type you describe can be due to an overgrowth in yeast and candida type molds in the body. They can easily grow in areas when the immune system is weak or there is trauma (even surgical trauma). Steroids only suppress the inflammatory response but do not kill the pathogens. I am suprised that no one did a stool culture at least to check for levels of yeast/pathogenic bacteria and molds in your body. An antifungal either herbal or prescriptive is very effective followed by the proper probiotics. Our clinic can evaluate this for you and the cost would be $150.00 for the initial one hour consult and testing plus any cost for the stool test. It is not good to stay on steroids and there are many effective ways to treat your condition without having to suppress symptoms. If you are interested please contact Jillian for an appointment and told her I told you it would be a 1 hour appointment base on our conversation. Guest guest
Also, the way it helps you heal is it releases toxins out of your system. GSE is a natural anti-biotic. You have to get the build up of toxins out of your system or else your system gets toxic overload and cannot protect itself. The reaction seems to be skin rashes, eczema, psoriasis, etc... Guest guest
I was hoping there was a way to get the yeast out of the underwear, other than throwing them away and getting new ones! In honor of this list, I am at work today without any underwear on! But seriously, would washing them in hot water and tea tree oil work?? Guest guest
WHAT IS GSE CAN U RIE OUT THE FILL NAME AND WHERE CAN I GET IT. THANK U LINDA Alison <Callesto71@...> wrote: GSE does help me but you have to start out with a small dosage and drinks LOTS of water. As I said , start out with a small dosage otherwise you might get that Yeast die off which feels like a hangover times 100. Good Luck! I have noticed that taking grapefruit seed extract continuously has helped me a lot with skin rashes, foliiculitis and body odor. Manayan 408-262-6900 Dr. Manayan is the one that put this candida thing into my mind. The surgical trauma she is talking about is the EMB. As I've started the candida diet and started to feel a bit better, I've actually noticed that I have itching in my ears, nose, and throat that could be related to it being allergy season, but it could also be that pesky yeast that seems to have gotten into every nook and cranny of my body! Diflucan is an antifungal drug in pill form that's supposed to be able to cure a yeast infection with in one dose...however, I took it off and on for the past few years and a few weeks ago I took it for five days in a row and it doesn't seem to help me much at all anymore. The only thing that seems to be working now is the candida diet and grapefruit seed extract, which I learned on these message boards is a natural antifungal. Guest guest
, I was planning on following the instructions from the bottle on how much to take of GSE. I drink lots of water anyways. Thanks for the insight. -P On Fri, 28 Apr 2006 08:21:37 -0700 (PDT) linda riley <spice_1718@...> writes: WHAT IS GSE CAN U RIE OUT THE FILL NAME AND WHERE CAN I GET IT.
