Well, learn something new everyday. I thought you

only used it to season cutting boards.

However, I am SURE about the wood being toxic to

horses. So I think I'll stick with olive for my

salads :-)

Thanks for setting me straight

If you are going to be using walnut oil in your items, make sure that it

is listed since there are people out there that may be allergic to it

( I am one of those people)

Jeanne,

I think Walnut Oil, Hemp Oil, Sesame Oil, Almond Oil.

Red Palm Oil, etc.. are safe, and wonderful flavorings

for salad dressings. Just don't subject them to heat.

Hi...is cold-pressed organic walnut oil okay? Little confused about

oils...Thanks.

Also, what if one is a vegetarian for ethical reasons? I do eat

chicken/fish, quite reluctantly, for the ethical concerns. I try and

choose critters who have had a realtively happy life, but still, I

don't like it... Just what if? How does someone do this diet if they

refuse to eat animals? Bee, I did read your articles on

vegetarianism...suspect wouldn't be enough to totally convince

everyone, however. :)

Thanks much,
