Sue(from Ohio).....low albumin could be the cause of edema...one of the

jobs of albumin is to keep an osmatic balance between the walls of your

vessels...you may have some portal systemic hypertension which would

indicate a distressed liver....this is definitely something to talk to

your doc about....low albumin is an indication of malfunctioning

liver....perhaps you have more liver damage than you know..

It used to be that everytime I saw my gastro the first thing he would do

was check my ankles and feet.... talk to your doctor about this...portal

hypertension leads to a lot of complications...

If this is true, then the definition of " rife machine " has certainly

Yes I guess I was sketchy in my email. I have been dx' with AIH since 1/01. I was put on 40mg of prednisone and tapered off. I have been on 5mg for about the past year. SInce, I also have had diabetes to come on board. My train is getting a little too crowded for me.

I am finishing run of one of our high school productions. ANd of course,

the stress has been too much. I have come down with some bug. I

wanted to ask if there are member out there who have a serious problems with

bacteria. I cant seem to get them under control. I have foot

rashes. I even get yeast rashed in my mouth. Not been too serious -

just a little chalky on the tongue. If you can help me by sharing your

experience. I would be appreciative. BTW I move from Montana

in June to live next door and help take care of my aunt.

Hi ,

Just be careful.You can have a delayed reaction that happens 10-14 days after

the sting.The worst being serum sickness which is a delayed allergic reaction

just under anaphalactic shock.It causes fever,rash,flu like symptoms and

temporary arthritis.

Most likely you have out grown it or like said the Enbrel is not

allowing a reaction to happen.Just keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't

become

infected.I just got stung 2 weeks ago and had way more of a reaction then

when I was little.

Hi, . I do remember Chris' allergist saying that allergies can be

outgrown, just as they can develop when you get older or change. It is

possible you outgrew that allergy to bees, but still be careful just in

case it was some kind of weird isolated incident with that one bee!

up I was highly allergic to bee's.. severe reactions.. many trips to the

ER..

On Sunday I got stung by a bee with absolutely no reaction.. I found it

strange

since Bee sting allergies typically get worse with every sting.. Has

this

happened to anyone? Am I just special.. did I outgrow it.. I don't get

it..
