This is not because the testing lab messed up-- it is because mercury is very well stored in some body tissues (e.g. brain) and usually only shows up on tests for a relatively short time after exposure. It is COMMON for mercury toxic people to have tests show as normal. This should not be taken as indicating that " all is well " , in the case of mercury. For other metals, it would depend on what test you did. I apologize if this information is not wanted--- I feel compelled to comment, as I would hate for someone who is mercury toxic to miss the opportunity to find out that they are... I realize that at times I may sound a bit fanatic, which I guess I am!
