Guest guest
Went to my doctor this morning to get my scripts updated and told him to either take me seriously about my thyroid problems or refer me to someone who would. He was very nice about it and referred me to a specialist. I have my first appointment in two weeks. Everyone please put your thinking caps on and tell me what I need to say or know before I get there. I want to be prepared to get started on the road to recovery. Any and all comments or opinions welcomed. Ellana
Guest guest
Good on you!Thats the thing about this illness - you need to be very hands on or you will miss out on getting the best treatment! Doctors are there to work for you (and the the prices we pay too right they should be!)so never be afraid of telling the doctor what is what! Not many doctors know a heck of a lot about hypothyroidism so chances are (if youve been doing your homework!) you know more than him! Good luck with your appointment :-) > Went to my doctor this morning to get my scripts updated and told him to either take me seriously about my thyroid problems or refer me to someone who would.
