I have been involved with zappers, rife machines, etc. for approximately

4 years, I do not consider myself an expert where I advise other people, it is

pretty common knowledge that there are errors in the earlier schematics.

Tonight I did a search on " Hulda zapper error " and had several hits.

Here is the best explanation I found:

" Mistakes In Schematic

Several readers have heard that there are mistakes in the electronic schematic

for the zapper in Dr. 's books.

1.Early printings did not show the connections for pin 1 (ground) and pin

8 (power) on the 555 timer chip. These connections are assumed in

schematics, however because many novices are building the zapper, Dr.

added them to the left-hand component list in subsequent

printings, and on the diagram itself in the most recent printings.

2.Early printings listed a " .01 uF " capacitor in the Radio Shack parts

list, but a " .1 uF " capacitor in the left-hand component list. Either

one will work. Later printings settled on " .01 " .

3. " Batterie " should be spelled battery. The positive side of the 9 volt

battery should go to the switch. In some books the electrical symbol

for the battery is reversed.

The instructions in " Assembling The Zapper " have always been complete and

correct. "
