Guest guest
Sylvana, I am so sorry to hear about this happening. Have you been in the hospital for a week now? How is the family doing? This is hard on you all. I am sure you are very scared. How are you feeling? Have they controlled the pain at least for you? Things do happen fast and you think happy thoughts until another outbreak that always reminds us of where we come from. I know some days I get so depressed when my being sick slaps me up side of the head to let me know it is there. I don't even like it when the phone rings anymore for fear of a doctor or clinic nurse calling to give me more instructions. I was just thinking of you today and wondering how you were. Thanks for the update. You are in my prayers. gayle/trans.6-99 galye@... ^0^ `
Guest guest
Hi Joan, I just came back from the hospital for weekend-leave (sounds like we're in the army or something) I have to go back sunday-night. I really don't know how I got into this mess this time, it all went so fast as usual. It started a week ago with an " innocent " flu. Last sunday I had stiches/acute pains on my left side. First I thought it was just a muscle. I went to my GP, and she started to examine my abdomen. When she touched my left side I could just jump off the table! She said I had to go to the ER immediatly. They did all the usual tests, blood, urine, injection in the wrist for bloodgasses(painful!) and still they had no clue what was going on with me. Because they thought it could have something to with my kidney, they suggested an ultrasound. So I had to stay in the hospital for a couple of days to do all the tests. On the second ultrasound a huge gland was discovered next to my belly button. There a 2 possible explanations why this thing is so huge: - it is a side effect of Imuran (has anyone on the list ever had this???????????) - the tumor that I had last year - which I thought was removed- has spread out All that they can tell me at this moment is that I am far too young to have such a large gland. Yesterday they did a biopsy( thank God it didn't hurt that much this time!!!) on the thing and this morning I had a CT-scan. Maybe they have the results next monday. Also I have an appt with my gynaecologist on that day. I'm soooo scared right now, don't want this to happen again!!! things were going so fine with the liver and now this....... We had planned to go to England next wednesday, but I don't think we're going now by the looks of it. I'll keep you all posted, please say a little prayer for me. Sylvana [ ] Sylvana Hi......I must have missed something (my mail has been very crazy lately) What has happened to land you in the hospital?
