However, Dr. Hu did something I have never experienced w/ any of the many surgeons I encountered. At the conclusion of our discussion & after she explained how she'd treat, she asked me if I was ready to hear about the risks. New one on me. Let me tell you, Dr. Hue left nothing out, death, disfigurement, death by this & that & then again, paralysis, blood clots and so on. Scared the absolute! s--t out of me!! I'm thinking,?? a policy of disclosure for UCSF?? You don't have to decide anything immediately and when you do, honor the voice that speaks true.
