Guest guest
A competent doctor who treated me for a thyroid condition [if the treated me at all] would probably treat me for hyperthyroidism. My TSH levels indicate hypothyroidism [high and increasing]. Wouldn't that entail a great deal of risk? Actually, given my [lack of or confusing] symptoms I would imagine no doctor would have treated me at all absent the tests that showed higher than normal [and increasing] TSH. ly, I'm still not totally convinced that my primary [or total] problem is hypothyroidism. Symptoms are one [but only one] of the important tools a competent doctor will utilize. Thanks for the suggestion on Dr. Hertoghe's book. I've put it on hold at the library. I cannot imagine doing testing every month or even at all. First you need to be treated adequately with enough of the right thyroid med. Then you might need other hormones.
