Jeanne, I can only eat white rice, carotts, brocolis, cauliflower, heart of palms and salad, period. There is NO WAY I can live only on veggies alone. I have already lost a lot of weight and muscle and would die if I stopped eating rice. Like all very allergic people, allergies dictate what I can eat, period, and my choice is very limited, I wonder how long I can go on this very restricted diet without malnutrition. Thanks for this info, Jeanne; it confirms I should give colon therapy a try. I will look into that next week. Take care. Francine

I am sure dysbiosis must be a factor but there is something else having to do with the mast cells: I became allergic to all those foods overnight, the first time after an anaphylactic shock to a medical drug, the second time after a nasty reaction to aspirin; both time in a context of lasting stress. I cannot see dysbiosis happening overnight. My doctor told me all the cases similar to mine she has treated were all stress related; one of her patients had major food intolerances after she lost her job, her husband and her brother within a month. Guest guest
I am sorry to hear that. I will pray for you and maybe just try some filtered water enemas at home if you are not up to going for colontherapy at first. One of my friends had horrible fatigue that she said was cleared up by having colon therapy. She went at least once a week if not twice for several months. Maybe Bee has some suggestions for you as she was limited to only 6 or 7 foods herself. -------------- Original message -------------- Dans un e-mail daté du 06/11/2004 17:34:19 Romance Standard Time, jeannekrieg@... a écrit : > Sorry to prattle on here but I really think the change in diet, along with > the enemas will win out in the long run versus all the other stuff. Guest guest
Dear Francine, In your situation I agree that colonotherapy may be very good to try. It can possibly make a big difference for you. It's too bad naet didn't work out for you. Keep looking and I'm sure you will find a solution and be a healthy sassy diva again. Guest guest
hi all! yes, i had one treatment of three colonics done over a week's time a few years back. it was very good for me at the time, i felt lighter (in body and spirit) after the treatment. i went in for terrible constipation and gas. it really helped. and my allergies were less severe afterwards too. i ordered a wonderful little enema kit from www.healthandyoga.com. i have never ever done a home enema, and i'm still nervous about trying it! but i have a friend who is a colonic therapist, and she swears by coffee enemas for being EXCELLENT to help the liver cleanse. as well as other herbal infusions, or just clean water. i have a neighbor who is challenging breast cancer, and part of her holistic treatment, which includes a lot of de-tox, is to use home enemas (often a coffee enema), she also reports dramatic changes for the better when she does it. ~ suz
