Guest guest
Hi NH My mother taught me that " laughter is the best medicine. " Plus, she always told us we had no right to take our misery out on others so pull yourself up by your bootstrap and get on with it. She was great like that, sharing little muses of wisdom all the time. Pre surgery I just thought of things like how I wouldn't have to wear a lift anymore. I could wear sandals for the first time in 20 years. Stuff like that. you'll be our thoughts and prayers. I haven't gone out in a car yet hopefully, I will progress to riding and driving. Anyway, I would like to see you in the hospital but I am unable to commit to it. > > Hi Val.... yes I am up at bat next! Guest guest
From what I read from your post it appears to me that you are the next scheduled to have surgery. I am now 10mts post op & looking bk it was the best gift I ever gave myself. Think about going shopping again, walking without tiring, looking like your old self (in fact a better than old self ), alot less pain.............I could go on & on but you know all the reason we post optors have for celebrating !!!! I was very frightened b4 my 8th bk surgery. I had been down the surgery road so many times & half of the time was no better. I had ALOT of doubts & misgivings. I cannot say my surgery was a pleasant experience or something I want to repeat but now 10mts post-op all I feel like doing is jumping 4 joy ( that is if I could jump !! ) I was operated on by Dr Boachie-Adjei on June 8th 2005. If you have any questions regarding Revision surgery, ask away, I will be happy to answer them. You will b in my thoughts 7 prayers, Diane B PA > > Hi Val.... yes I am up at bat next!
