Guest guest
Jeanette, I hope you feel better soon, and you can moan anytime you want. From what I've seen there is always someone to listen on here. Take care. ===== BETHANNE AIH 9/01 30 pred/50 imuran __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hi, Shivering could be your body going through withdrawal-sugar and a lot of foods are addictive. I used to get it before I tried Bee's diet, as sometimes I went for a while without sugar and wheat. I do not get it as much now. Has anyone experienced this during the healing process? Maybe it was connected to my lymph issues, but I just don't know. I can feel my hearth beating now - more than it has of late. I even wondered if I had had too much salt! > > My heart was thumping for several hours and I didn't get to sleep until after 4am. > > Ali. >
Guest guest
Hello Ali, If you have ever experienced these symptoms before, you body will retrace them when healing. Fats/coconut oil are very energizing and so it is probably best not to eat them too close to bedtime, since it can be hard to sleep. Heart racing and pounding can happen when we increase our fats - and coconut oil in particular can cause heart racing. Have you recently increased your fats? Heart racing can also be due to stress or adjustments in your thyroid/adrenals. In message #90057 Bee wrote: " Also coconut oil increases your metabolism (all of the chemical processes occurring within a living cell or organism that are necessary for the maintenance of life) so your heart rate can increase too, as Ray Peat reports in his article about his reactions to coconut oil: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/coconut4.php He writes: " Apparently the metabolic surges that happened at first were an indication that my body was compensating for an anti-thyroid substance by producing more thyroid hormone; when the coconut oil relieved the inhibition, I experienced a moment of slight hyperthyroidism, but after a time the inhibitor became less effective, and my body adjusted by producing slightly less thyroid hormone. " Also when you and/or your body are stressed your pulse rate increases so it is important to do deep breathing exercises when it happens: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/breath4.php " Hope that helps, andra, a group moderator I had a strange episode last night. About 10 minutes after I went to bed my heart started racing and pounding, then suddenly I started shivering - real teeth-chattering shivering. This went on for maybe half an hour. I think my blood pressure went up too as I had pressure banging in my head too. I am not sure whether it was down to something i ate, or whether it was a retracing thing. Has anyone experienced this during the healing process? Maybe it was connected to my lymph issues, but I just don't know. I can feel my hearth beating now - more than it has of late. I even wondered if I had had too much salt! My heart was thumping for several hours and I didn't get to sleep until after 4am. Ali.
