Guest guest
If you haven't been fasting for 12 hours, then are your blood tests really reliable? I counted 13 tests that required fasting: And the main ones were, ACT, ALT, GGT, Ammonia, Bilirubin, Alkaline Phosphate, plus the three parts of Cholesterol, LDL and HDL. Your doctor's office should have given you an instruction sheet. Sometimes when you are a regular, the assistants take one for granted that you have already been told. I would like to know if your numbers are different after fasting. A lot of them say not to drink or eat for 12 hours before. I've never been told that. I usually leave the docs. office and go straight to the lab. Sometimes they ask me if I had breakfast which I always have because of my diabetes. Do you think this is a problem? > > > Debbie/FL > > > > > > >
